0 general ideas:
Lesson 3是Sandy与Tom见面互相做自我介绍、打招呼的对话。

1 Teaching objectives.

Hello, I’m Tom. Nice to meet you!
Nice to meet you, too.
Word phrases:I’m Tom nice meet you too
●Difficult points:I’m / Tom / I’m Tom./ Nice to meet you./ Nice to meet you,
too 的发音及连读。

2 Teaching suggestions.
本课文对话简短,重点放在认识人物Tom和I’m / Tom / I’m Tom./ Nice to meet you./ Nice to meet you, too 的发音及对话模仿和表演上。

在教学中应该注意以下几点:
●在情景中整体呈现课文对话。

●通过看口型等方式提醒学生注意单词的尾音和句子的连读。

II Teaching procedures.
Period 1
1.Preparation
1) T: Let’s read Lesson 1 together.
Ss: Lesson 1…(学生齐声朗读课文)
T:Good!(表扬读的好的地方,指出读得不到位的地方)
2)T: Which group can act out the dialogue?
(学生举手上台表演,请2—3组)
2.Presentation.
1) T: Who’s he /she? (三个表演的小朋友站成一排,教师指着头饰问)
Ss: He is…/ She is… (Sandy/Sue/Miss Williams)
T: So you can say : I’m…(Sandy/Sue/Miss Williams)
( 引导站在前面表演的三个小朋友说出来)
T: Nice to meet you.
(与学生握手,引导学生回答Nice to meet you, too.)
2) T: Look! Sandy meet a new friend. Please look at the pictures and try to answer.
(出示课文插图)
Q1: What can you see in the picture? Ss: I can see …
Q2: Where are they? Ss: They are
Q3: What will they say? S1:…(学生自由说)
3) T: You are clever!Let’s listen and answer: What’s the boy’s name?
( 教师指着Tom,播放录音,学生听两遍录音后回答)
Ss:He is Tom.
T: How do you know?你是根据课文中哪句话听出来的?
Ss:I’m Tom.
T: What else did you hear? 你还听到了什么?

3. Practice
1) Imitate the text sentence by sentence.
2)T: Look at the pictures and say. (出示课文插图,根据图片说一、两句话) 4. Production
1)Imitate the text sentence by sentence again.
2)Check some of the difficult pronunciation
3)Read the lesson individually or in chorus.
(如果时间允许) T: Let’s act out the dialogue.
Period 2
1. Preparation
1) T: Let’s Recite Lesson 1 together.
Ss: Lesson 1…(学生齐声朗读课文)
T:Good!(表扬读的好的地方,指出读得不到位的地方)
2)T: Who can act out the dialogue?
(学生举手上台表演,请2—3组)
3) T: What about Lesson 3? Can you read?Can you recite?Can you act it out?
Ss:Yes. / …
(读、背还是演根据学生的情况定,选程度好哦对的两组试试)
2. Presentation.
1) T: Who are they? (出示Lesson3课文插图)
Ss: … (Sandy and Tom)
T: Let’s listen and repeat the text sentence by sentence.
Ss listen and repeat.
T: Good! Let’s read the dialogue together/ in groups/ individually…
2) T: Look at the pictures and say.
(出示课文插图,根据图片说一、两句话)
3. Practice
T: Let’s act out the dialogue.
(学生两人一组准备好课文中的对话,一组一组上台表演。


4. Production
T: They also meet in the PE class ( haii /canteen / club… ). Please make a similar dialogue in pairs or groups of three/four.
(拓展部分:为学生提供孩子们在不同场景初次见面的情境,让孩子们自由组合2人、3人或4人都可以,编一个与课文类似的对话。
