二、教材分析：本单元的学习主题是天气情况。
本节课是第四课时。
在A部分学生已掌握了最基本的天气单词：cold, cool, warm和hot,。
本节课要求学生在A部分的基础上进一步学习天气的词汇和询问天气的句型“What’s the weather like in New York? It’s...”，来询问天气情况并进行回答。
三、教学目标及整体设计思路：1.知识目标：1、能听懂、会说问答句：What’s the weather like in New York? It’s rain. How about Beijing? It’s 26 degrees.2.能力目标：能够在情境中恰当运用句型对天气情况进行询问。
3.情感目标：了解中西方对气温描述时的差异，即中国以摄氏度为单位，西方以华氏度为单位。

本课具有非常重要的启下作用，因为学生即将在本册课本的第五单元学习clothes这个话题，在第六单元学习shopping这个话题。
都可以跟天气联结进行应用。
