Seasons in China
China has four distinct seasons - spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each season has its unique scenery and activities that people enjoy.
Spring is mild and pleasant, as flowers start to bloom and trees turn green. People fly kites, take walks and celebrate the Spring Festival. Summer is hot and rainy. People eat cooling foods, wear breathable clothes and travel to beat the heat. Autumn has cool breezes and fiery red maple leaves. People admire beautiful foliage, enjoy the harvest and prepare warm clothes for winter. Winter is very cold with some snow up north. People drink ginger tea, make stews, ski and ice skate during winter.
