Step 1自主学习
【新词自查】
根据句意及首字母或汉语提示填写单词或短语。

1．Go along__ Bridge Street and turn__ right when you see a bank.
2．Turn left at the second crossing__，you can see a hospital.
3．If you are in China，you should __walk__on__the__right__(在右边)．If you are in England，you should walk __on__the__left__(在左边)．
Step 2情景导入
【参考案例】
Teacher：The post office，bank，supermarket，New Park，bookshop are in my school's neighborhood.I am at school.I want to go to the bank.How can I get there?
Students：Go straight and turn right.It s on Jiefang Street.It s on the left.The bank is next to the supermarket.
设计意图：利用一张学校所在地的街区图，让学生描述建筑物的位置关系，然后导入本课的话题，让学生根据学校所在地的街区图，了解问路和指路的一些基本句型。

Step 3完成教材1a－1d的任务
【操作案例】
1．根据图标，完成教材1a的任务。

2．听录音，完成1b的任务。

3．再听一遍录音，完成1c的任务。

4．对听力材料的重点词组或句子进行讲解，然后让全班学生分角色朗读并熟读听力材料，还可让若干组学生进行分角色朗读表演，完成1d的任务。

设计意图：通过听、说训练让学生掌握并灵活运用本节课的问路与指路的重点句型，培养学生掌握听力技巧和口语表达能力。

知识点拨
around 作介词，意为“在……周围”。

around还可作副词，意为“在周围；大约”。
