Hi everyone! Today I want to tell you all about the second unit of our English Sunshine Classroom in the second semester of the fifth grade.
In this unit, we learned all about different countries and cultures around the world. We studied countries like China, Japan, France, and Brazil. We learned about their traditional foods, clothing, and festivals. It was so interesting to see how different each country is!
We also practiced our geography skills by locating these countries on a map. We learned about their capitals, landmarks, and famous tourist attractions. I can now point out where the
Great Wall of China, the Eiffel Tower, and the Statue of Christ the Redeemer are on a map!
One of my favorite parts of this unit was learning about the different languages spoken in each country. We learned how to say hello and thank you in Mandarin, Japanese, French, and Portuguese. It was so fun to practice speaking in different languages!

Hello everyone, I am a fifth grader and I want to share with you what we learned in the Sunshine Classroom in the second unit of the second semester.
In this unit, we learned a lot of new words and sentences. We learned about different food and drinks, like pizza, ice cream, sandwiches, and orange juice. We also learned how to describe the taste of food, like sweet, salty, sour, and spicy. It was fun to learn all these new words because it made me hungry!
We also learned how to talk about our daily routines in English. We practiced saying sentences like "I wake up at 7
o'clock" and "I brush my teeth before breakfast." It was interesting to see how different our daily routines are from each other.
In addition to learning new vocabulary and sentences, we also practiced our speaking and listening skills. We had conversations with our classmates about our favorite foods, daily routines, and weekend plans. It was challenging at first, but it was a great way to practice our English skills.

In Sunshine Classroom Unit 2 of Grade 5, we learned a lot of interesting things. Firstly, we learned about different countries and their cultures. We talked about the USA, UK, China, and many other countries. We learned about their customs, festivals,
and even some fun facts. For example, did you know that the UK has a famous tradition called afternoon tea?
Next, we learned about animals from different countries. We learned about kangaroos from Australia, pandas from China, and even penguins from Antarctica. We had so much fun drawing pictures of these animals and learning more about them.
In this unit, we also practiced our speaking and listening skills by having conversations with our classmates. We talked about our hobbies, favorite foods, and even our future dreams. It was so much fun getting to know each other better.
