本课是本单元的重点，本课的学习将为整个单元及今后的学习奠定基础。

本节的对话内容是学生比较感兴趣的话题，能够激发他们的学习兴趣和激情。

二、学情分析本单元是学生在第五单元的基础上，继续认识、了解、掌握、运用定语从句。

虽说有一定的定语从句基础，但本单元加上了关系副词，学生对定语从句的掌握加大了难度。

根据本班学生活泼好动、课堂上敢于发言、善于表现自己、竞争意识强等特点，本课设计了猜谜、调查采访及各种各样的小组活动，以激发学生的好奇心和好胜心。

同时在小组中大家互帮互助，待进生也得到了提高，让学生在比较和谐的环境中愉快学习。

三、教学目标1.知识目标：（1）I would like to go somewhere relaxing.（2）初步学会运用含有关系副词的定语从句2.能力目标：（1）学会谈论喜欢去旅游的地方（2）学会用形容词和定语从句介绍一些著名的旅游胜地。

本单元的中心话题是Vacations，整个单元的内容是围绕Vacations以生动、活泼的对话，以及个人的自我介绍展开的。

通过本单元的学习，要求学生能够谈论自己想去的地方，并学会介绍旅游景点，同时了解世界各地的一些名胜古迹。

因此，国家和旅游景点的介绍，不仅在本单元占据主导地位，也是训练学生口语表达能力的良好素材。

根据新课标对学生交际能力的培养，尤其对学生口语及阅读能力的要求不断提高，以及农村学生的实际情况，我将本课设计为一堂口语会话课。

Unit 3 Where would you like to visit?Section A教学设计一、教材分析本节课是在第一课时的基础上，以听力理解、阅读理解等训练方式和独立学习、合作交流、完成任务等形式完成语言目标的输入，学习定语从句为主要学习任务，并且设置任务型综合性语言实践活动，让学生在交际活动中，学会如何正确地用英语表达自己的意见和建议，重在培养学生的习得语言运用能力、实践能力、合作能力及创新意识。

二、学情分析根据以上对教材的分析，同时针对学生学习外语存在一定困难的实际情况。

首先给学生创造外语语言氛围，创设一定的语言情景，这样可以激发学生学习兴趣，使学生在参与一系列活动中，掌握知识三、教学目标1、知识目标：（1）consider, including等重点单词的用法（2）定语从句的运用和理解2、能力目标：让学生做课堂的主人，同时培养他们掌握一些行之有效的学习方法,优化学习效果。
