Emergency vehicles are often operated under high speed stressful conditions which must be accounted for when installing all emergency warning devices. Controls should be placed within convenient reach of the operator so that he can operate the system without taking his eyes off the roadway. Emergency warning devices can require high electrical voltages and/or currents. Properly protect and use caution around live electrical connections.Grounding or shorting of electrical connections can cause high current arcing, which can cause personal injury and/or vehicle damage, including fire. Many electronic devices used in emergency vehicles can create or be affected by electromagnetic interference.Therefore, after installation of any electronic device it is necessary to test all electronic equipment simultaneously to insure that they operate free of interference from other components within the vehicle. Never power emergency warning equipment from the same circuit or share the same grounding circuit with radio communication equipment.All devices should be mounted in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and securely fastened to vehicle elements of sufficient strength to withstand the forces applied to the device. Driver and/or passenger air bags (SRS) will affect the way equipment should be mounted.This device should be mounted by permanent installation and within the zones specified by the vehicle manufacturer, if any.Any device mounted in the deployment area of an air bag will damage or reduce the effectiveness of the air bag and may damage or dislodge the device. Installer must be sure that this device, its mounting hardware and electrical supply wiring does not interfere with the air bag or the SRS wiring or sensors. Mounting the unit inside the vehicle by a method other than permanent installation is not recommended as unit may become dislodged during swerving; sudden braking or collision. Before using the meter, remove the protective cap and condition the electrode by soaking the tip (bottom 4 cm/1½") in pH 7.01 buffer solution for a couple of hours. Then follow the calibration procedure.OPERATION•Do not be alarmed if white crystals appear around the cap. This is normal with pH electrodes and they dissolve when rinsed with water.•Connect the supplied electrode to the meter.•Turn the tester on by sliding the switch on the top.•Remove the protective cap and place the tip of the flat electrode on the surface to be measured (skin or scalp).•For best results, wet the surface with distilled wa-ter or a neutral disinfectant.•After use, rinse the electrode with water and store it with a few drops of HI 70300 storage solution in the protective cap.DO NOT USE DISTILLED OR DEIONIZED WATER FOR STORAGE PURPOSES.•Always replace the protective cap after use.CALIBRATION•For best results, calibrate frequently.•Dip the tip of the electrode (4 cm/1½") in pH 7.01 buffer solution at room temperature. Allow the reading to stabilize.•Use a small screwdriver to adjust the pH7 trimmer until the display reads "pH 7.01".•Rinse the electrode with water and dip it in pH 4.01 (or pH 10.01) buffer solution. Allow the reading to stabi-lize.•With a small screwdriver adjust the pH4/10 trimmer until the display reads "pH 4.01" (or "pH 10.01").•Calibration is now complete.ALWAYS CALIBRATE USING FRESH BUFFER SO-LUTIONS.WARRANTYThese meters are guaranteed for one year against defects in work-manship and materials when used for its intended purpose and maintained according to instructions. Electrodes are guaranteed for a period of six months . This warranty is limited to repair or replace-ment free of charge. Damages due to accident, misuse, tampering or lack of prescribed maintenance are not covered. If service is required,contact the dealer from whom you purchased the instrument. If under warranty, report the model number, date of purchase, serial number and the nature of the failure. If the repair is not covered by the warranty, you will be notified of the charges incurred. If the instrument is to be returned to Hanna Instruments, first obtain a Returned Goods Authorization Number from the Customer Service department and then send it with shipment costs prepaid. When shipping any instru-ment, make sure it is properly packaged for complete protection.Recommendations for UsersBefore using this product, make sure that it is entirely suitable for the environment in which it is used. Operation of this instrument in residential areas could cause interference to radio and TV equipment. The glass bulb at the end of the pH electrode is sensitive to electrostatic discharges. Avoid touching this glass bulb at all times. Any variation introduced by the user to the supplied equipment may degrade the instrument's EMC performance. To avoid electrical shocks, do not use this instrument when voltage at the measurement surface exceeds 24Vac or 60 Vdc. To avoid damage or burns, do not perform any measurement inmicrowave ovens.BATTERY REPLACEMENTReplace the batteries when the display fades or the meter cannot be switched on.Remove the battery cover on the back of the meter. Insert 2 new 1.5V batteries, while paying at-tention to their polarity.Batteries should only be replaced in a safe area using the battery type specified in this instructionmanual.。

The unit can be ordered for outdoor fitting, in which case it is provided with a roof (accessory VEX100OD).1.3.1 Space requirementsThe drawing below indicates how much space is needed for opening the doors and servicing the unit, e.g. changing filters, cleaning, servicing, etc.R D 10182-02NBFor servicing, the VEX must have a free height of at least 300 mm above the con-nection box.1.3.2 Requirements for underlying surfaceWhen fitting the unit directly to an existing surface - i.e. without using the mounting base (accessory) - the surface must be:●flat●level (+/- 3 mm per metre)●hard●resistant to vibration1.3.3 Condensation outletA condensation outlet must be installed in the immediate vicinity of the unit. See also "Mechanical assembly" section.7/321.3.4 Requirements for duct systemSilencers The duct system must be fitted with silencers specified by the Project Manager,which meet the requirements of the operating area.Bends A duct bend may be fitted immediately after the unit, because the airflow in thespigot has a uniformly moderate speed profile, which results in negligible systempressure loss.Insulation The duct system must be insulated against:●condensation●sound leakage●heating/cooling lossesCondensation Condensation in the ducts may occur when the exhaust/outdoor air has high hu-midity. Handling 2.1 UnpackingSupplied compo-nents The following components are supplied:●VEX unit●Supplied accessories (as indicated in the checklist on the front page of the in-structions).Packaging The unit is delivered on a disposable pallet and packed in clear plastic.NB Once the plastic has been removed, the unit must be protected against dirt and dust:●The covers on the spigots must not be removed until the spigots areconnected to the ventilation ducts.●Whenever possible, keep the unit closed during fitting.The unit should be cleaned before it is used.Once the VEX unit is fitted, it must be checked and thoroughly cleaned. All dust, debris and metal shavings must be vacuumed up.2.2 TransportTransport Transport the VEX unit on the disposable pallet. Do not lift it with the spigots or connection box.Transport methods Transport the VEX unit in one of the following ways:2.2.1 Passage through openingsHeight VEX height is 1127 mm + any base spigot (+62 mm).Width The list (below) shows how wide the opening has to be for the unit to pass through:*) Measurements are based on the exact dimensions of the VEX unit.2.2.2 Internal transport with reduced weightRemoving the serv-ice doors To remove the service doors:●Open both doors.●Using a small punch or similar tool, knock the pin out of the top of the doorhinges (A), and lift the doors off.RD1247-2Detail AAWeight reduction The weight can be reduced during transport by removing service doors, fans and crossflow heat exchanger. Mechanical assembly3.1 InstallationDescription It is important that the VEX is installed on a level surface, as this affects the col-lection and draining of the condensate.3.1.1 Installation directly on floorThe requirements for the floor surface must be met, see the section entitled "Re-quirements for underlying surface".NB After installation, check the VEX unit is completely level.3.1.2 Installation on mounting baseThe EXHAUSTO mounting base enables the VEX unit to be installed correctly. Thebase is equipped with adjustable levelling screws, so that the air handling unit can befitted horizontally on a surface that is not level ( +/- 20 mm per metre). See the sepa-rate instructions for installing the mounting base.3.2 Condensation outletConnection of the condensation outlet must be made by an au-thorised plumber.Drain the condensation outlet into a floor gully or similar. Thecondensation outlet must be fitted with a water trap. See below. Risk of frost Where there is a risk of frost: It is recommended to protect thecondensation outlet against frost damage. Fit a SIPHONE electri-cal heat tracing device on the outlet before the pipes are insula-ted. Remember to check the flow direction - see the arrows on the fil-ter.Discarded filters must be stored immediately in sealed plastic bags and disposed ofresponsibly.Filter change in menu 8.1After filter change (timer operation only): Go to menu 8.1 in the EXact control system and select "Yes" next to filter change to reset the operating days counter.5.4.2 Cleaning the fans5.4.3 Cleaning the heating coils5.4.4 Cleaning the crossflow heat exchangerDismount the Tice sensor from the heat exchanger bracket (see photo step 10).Remove the crossflow heat exchanger. Note the weight of the heat exchanger, seetechnical data – min. two persons for lifting.Press the release button on the bypass motor and turn the damper with the louvres in openposition.Do not activate the release button on the bypass motor while it isdismounted, as this will alter the position of the motor comparedto the damper.Clean the heat exchanger by flushing with hot water or by pressure washing. Max. water temperature. 90℃.Mount the bypass motor. The damper must be in open position (louvres fully open), as for dismounting.Re-insert the plug for the bypass motor.6. A furnace should cycle 5-6 times an hour.a. The anticipator is set at 1.0 on all hydro flame thermostats. If you want to shorten the heating cycle, move anticipator to a lower amp setting. You should not set lower than .48 which is the amperage rating of the gas valve. Setting any lower could burn out the anticipator wire.Note: Heat anticipator adjustments are not covered underwarranty.Mechanical Thermostat -HEAT ONLYHeat/cool thermostats are being used in conjunction with air conditioners and our furnace. The warranty, installation instructions and diagnostic information is provided by the manufacturer of the thermostat. However, if you need to isolate a furnace problem or a dual thermostat problem, by-pass the furnace wires at the thermostat. If the furnace ignites and heats, you have a thermostat problem. Position the mandrel as indicated to give the required length of skive, and lock into position with the screw.Place the hose onto the end of the mandrel and lower the tool to the position of the outside of the wire spirals, visible at the end of the hose. Clamp the tool in position.Holding the hose lightly against the tool, rotate the handle in a clockwise direction ie. top going and skive a short length of hose. Check the skive diameter and adjust the tool as required.Complete the skive by rotating the handle in a clockwise direction while feeding the hose at a steady rate onto the tool. When the end of the hose reaches the shoulder of the mandrel the correct skive length should be achieved. Remove the hose and check the skive dimensions.INTERNAL SKIVINGRemove the tool post and external mandrel from the head unit.Select the correct internal skive tool to suit the hose size.Fit the internal skive tool into the head unit.Place the hose onto the mandrel and hold lightly against the tool. Adjust the tool using the jacking screw until it is inline with the inside of the wire spirals visible at the end of the hose and clamp the tool in position.Holding the hose lightly against the tool rotate the handle in a counter clockwise direction ie. top coming and skive a short length of bore.Check the skive diameter and adjust the tool as required.Set the length adjusting stop as indicated.Replace the hose and complete the skive. OPERATING & MAINTENANCEINSTRUCTIONS FOR EXHEATFP-RCH TYPE FLAMEPROOF WATERHEATER1.0 GENER AL1.1 All work should be carried out by suitably qualified personnel.1.2 Heaters must be handled with care & stored in dry conditions.1.3 Adequate withdrawal space must be provided to allow the removal of the heater assembly.1.4 Carefully remove all protective packaging & visually inspect unit for any transit damage.1.5 All prevailing rules, regulations & bylaws in force at the time & place of installation must be observed.1.6 Heaters must only be immersed in the fluid they are designed to heat.1.7 The introduction of alternative fluids even in small concentrations for purposes such as sterilising may cause seriousdamage to the heater & will invalidate the warranty.1.8 Any modification not carried out by Exheat Limited or its approved agent will invalidate certification & warranty. 1.9 For Hazardous area heaters reference must be made to EN 60079-17.1.10 All electrical testing must be carried out in a non-hazardous area.1.11 Precautions must be taken to prevent damage to machined surfaces & threads of flameproof enclosures.1.12 Ensure that any special conditions for safe use detailed on the hazardous area certification are compiled with.2.0 INSTALLATION Refer to Fig.12.1 The heater should be securely fixed in position & all terminal connections checked for tightness before energising. 2.2 The unit must be wall mounted allowing one metre above the highest draw off point to ensure good flow.2.3 Sufficient clearance must be allowed to ensure access to the ball valve assembly.2.4 The wall fixing points are designed to accept 8mm bolts which should not be less than 50mm in length.2.5 Always ensure that the wall is sufficiently strong to carry the weight of the unit when it is full of water.3.0 PIPEWORK CONNECTIONS Refer to Fig.23.1 The installation must conform to any local authority byelaws.3.2 The cold water supply & warning pipe assembly (overflow) can be connected to either side of the unit, the respectiveapertures are pre-formed in the outer case & these should be used as guides for cutting through the cold water tank. 3.3 A 22mm hole saw is required for the inlet & a 27mm hole saw for the warning pipe.3.4 An isolating valve must be fitted to the cold water mains supply to allow for servicing.4.0 FITTING TO COLD WATER TANK Refer to Fig.34.1 The FP-RCH series of water heaters are supplied with all the components that are required to comply with the UKWRC byelaw 30.4.2 The filter & breather assembly is a push snap-fit connection & should be fitted to the lid in the aperture provided.4.3 The warning pipe assembly (overflow) comprises of three components.4.4 The threaded elbow (tank connector) is inserted through the hole that has been cut, & tightened with the nut & sealingwasher on the inside of the tank.4.5 The 90° bend internal “dip tube” is pushed firmly into the connector facing downwards. The warning pipe (overflow)screen is located securely in to downwards external connection of the connector.4.6 The ball valve assembly is fitted as required, adjusting the float to ensure that the water level in the tank does notexceed the water level line.4.7 Before making electrical connections it is recommended that the unit is filled & checked for leaks.4.8 After installation, replace lid & secure with retaining screw supplied.5.0 ELECT R ICAL SUPPLY CONNECTIONS Refer to Fig.45.1Refer to wiring diagram (Fig.4) 5.2The cable entry is positioned on the side of the terminal box. 5.3Before connection ensure that the supply corresponds with that specified on the rating label. 5.4Ensure that the sizes & types of cable to be used are suitably rated for the load & temperature of the unit. 5.6Each heater must be protected by a suitably rated over current device. 5.7The cables must enter the heater terminal box via a certified Ex d cable gland (not supplied) & be fitted by a qualified person. 5.8 The covers & bodies of RF series terminal boxes are unscrewed after slackening the locking grub screw. When re-fitting ensure that the “O” ring seal is in good condition & correctly located. The main cover threads MUST be kept clean & free from any debris at all times.5.9The installer or end user must connect to the Exheat supplied terminals within the terminal box – DO NOT – connect to or disturb factory fitted heating element wiring. 6.0 EA R TH CONNECTION6.1WARNING – these heaters MUST BE EARTHED . 6.2The external earth connection is located adjacent to one of the terminal box cable entries. 6.3 An internal earth connection is provided inside the terminal box.7.0 OPE R ATION7.1Important – the unit MUST be full of water before switching on the electricity supply & at all times whilst energised. 7.2The cold water supply to the integral cistern is controlled by the ball valve; water drawn from the unit is replaced from the contents of the cold water cistern that is refilled automatically. 7.3Heat is transferred by means electric heating elements. 7.4Control of the heater is facilitated by thermostats, & reference should be made to the wiring diagram to ensure that these are correctly connected & set prior to energising the heater. 7.5 Where a manual reset cut-out is installed, the terminal box cover will have to be removed to enable a reset to becarried out.7.6 Th e unit MUST NOT be used if suspected of being frozen. If water ceases to flow switch off the electricity supplyimmediately at the isolating switch. If the unit is to be serviced or drained disconnect the electricity supply before commencing the operation.8.0 MAINTENANCE8.1All prevailing site safety regulations shall be adhered to at all times. 8.2Before & whilst any maintenance activity is carried out, it must be ensured that there are no hazardous gases present. 8.3Equipment is to be fully isolated from the electricity supply before & whilst any work is being carried out. 8.4Any damage or faults should be notified to Exheat Limited immediately. 8.5For equipment certified for use in hazardous areas reference should be made to EN 60079-17 (especially table 1) in addition to the following recommendations. 8.6 Any replacement parts required must be obtained directly from Exheat. The use of any other parts will void anycertification and warrantyMonthly8.7 3a. Generally inspect the equipment for external damage or leaks.Monthly8.8 6a. SECTION 3:READING THE VEHICLE INFORMATIONPOWERING UP THE SCORCHER PRO1.Using the provided HDMI/OBDII Cable from Section 1, plug the device into the vehicle’s OBDII Port commonly found within 24”of the steering column under the driver’s side dash.READING THE VEHICLE’S INFORMATION1.At this point, the key should be in the ignition, but in the OFF position until prompted to turn key ON/RUN position.2.From the Main Menu , select Program Vehicle .3.Processing Data : The Scorcher Pro is now reading your vehicle information.4.Updates: Internet Required . Inorder to install the most up-to-date files the Scorcher Pronow requires internet access. You can access these files via twomethods found in Section 4.SECTION 4:METHODS FOR UPDATING THE SCORCHER PROMETHOD #1: UPDATING VIA WIFI INSIDE THE VEHICLE1.Select Continue from the Internet Required screen.2.Select the WiFi network you would like to connect to. Use the middle button to confirm your selection.3. Enter the network pass code using the arrow keys and the middle button to select.4. Alternatively, you can also click Locate Custom Tunes .4.Highlight the Tune you wish to load. The tune you selected should move to the Available Tunes section .5.Select the listed tune in the Available Tunes section, then click the >> button to move the selected tune to the On Device section.6.Highlight the tune under the On Device section , then click program. Tunes can only be loaded one at a time. Repeat steps 3-7 for each tune, the device can hold up to ten custom tunes.2.4.3.7.6.NOTE: During the installation the Scorcher Pro will be married to your (One) vehicle. If it is on disable it by turning it to off.This will cause the device to stop identifying your vehicle as a Shelby GT500 and will nowoperate as needed.Q: My vehicle is modified and I loaded a preloaded tune. Now it won’t run as expected.A: In most cases a modified vehicle requires a custom tune. There are set ups in the preloadedtune options to adapt to certain cold air intakes, however this is per vehicle and what works forone vehicle may not work on another.Q: Can I tune more than one vehicle with this programmer?A: No,during the installation the Scorcher Pro will be married to your vehicle. Once married there isan unlock fee to un-marry the device from your vehicle in order to install it on another vehicle. SECTION 7:ON–DEVICE DATA LOGGING1. Connect the Scorcher Pro to the OBDII port.2. From the Main Menu, scroll toGauges/Datalog and press thecenter button on the ScorcherPro.3. On initial setup, you will need to select Configuration press thecenter button, and select yourvehicle from a list of data logfiles. In the future, you cancontinue without going throughthe vehicle selection.4. Once you select your vehicle, the default gauges will show up andcan now be monitored.5.The items being monitored can be adjusted by pressing up ordown on the device to highlight and then pressing the centerbutton on the Scorcher Pro to select which reading you’d liketo change. Within this menu, you can change the item you’remonitoring, and the units in which it will be displaying. You canalso change the layout of the gauges within this menu.6.To start or stop data logging, press the center button on theScorcher Pro while monitoring the gauges.7.While monitoring, press right or left on the device to go tothe Gauges/Datalog menu. 这是连接UV LED照射头的连接器。使用另售品的分支电缆或照射头单元,可以最多连接8个照射头。 注)如使用分支电缆中的“BC-4”和照射头单元中的“H-4VH”,只能使用CH1和CH2。(不能使用CH3和CH4)。
另外,也不能使用分支电缆的BC-3。

●会显示已选择的照射头连接器CH的LEVEL(%)或TIMER(sec)。但, 如选择了A(ALL),则会显示《ALL》。 如选择了未连接UV LED照射头的CH(在电源开关ON后连接了照射头时也一样),则会显示《---》。 如用⑤的SELECT开关选择了未显示CH的位置,则会显示《...》。 ●会显示菜单的内容和UV照射累计时间,而出现Error时会显示Error代码。
