重新认识备课
备课的实质是教师对自己学科思想的阐释,对学科知识体系的梳理,更是对教学活动的组织过程以及所涉及的时间、内容和空间结构的规范和优化的过程。
这
是一个循环往复、逐步发展投高的过程。
对于一个教师而言,备课是上课的基础,对于一门学科而言,备课是保证教学质量基础。
备课对于教师来说是一项经常性的工作,然而就是在这“司空见惯”中,我们依然对备课在思想上存在误解,在行为上存在偏差。
重新认识备课,理解其完整内涵,把握其新理念,对教师来说具有十分重要的意义。
一、备课存在的问题
审视当前现实中备课存在的问题,有利于我们对备课中的种种不足加以警惕,并尽力克服,从而实现备课的有效、高效。
1.对备课理解不清,目的不明
备课是教师的基本工作,但很多教师对备课的性质理解不正确,对备课的目的理解不明确。
主要表现在两个方面:一是认为备课就是写教案。
有调查表明,很多教师在整个备课过程中,20%的精力用于钻研教材,了解学情,80%的精力用于书写教案。
这种本末倒置的精力分配预示了备课的低效。
同时,科技进步带来信息的高效利用,“网络教案”随之应运而生,集体备课成为“教案之和”的代名词,“拿来主义”更是多数教师的惯用做法。
备课已成为一种形式,一种任务,一种负担,成为达到某种目的而不得不应付的差事。
二是教师片面地认为备课就是“背课”。
教师经常把上课的每句话、教学过程每一环节所需时间,甚至哪里需要停顿、哪里是重音等都写在教案上,将教案背得滚瓜烂熟,然后在课堂上照“案”宣科地上课。
因此,在课堂上教师常常是“眼中无人”,整个就是自己在“背课”。
2.以“三中心”备课,心中无生
尽管新课程的理念已经普及,但是受传统思想及考试压力的影响,教师在备课中往往还是过分地突出了以知识教学为中心、以教科书为中心和以教师为中心。
主要表现在三个方面:一是只备教材。
只注意以教材和教学参考书为中心的教学内容的研究,就是“备”教材的重点和难点,“备”教学参考书的要求和建议。
教师通过精心地“两备”,充分吃透教材和教学参考书的精神,领会其中的要求与指示,并把它们作为“圣旨”,在自己的教案当中加以贯彻和执行。
二是只备知识。
仅以认知目标为教学目标取向,在教学设计时往往只考虑教学的认知目标,把学生仅仅看作是一个为知识而存在的认知体,而不能关注学生发展的其他方面。
三是只备“教”。
即以教师活动为主线编制教学程序,具体的表现就是“备”教学程序、“备”标准答案。
所谓教学程序,即“准备——复习——新授——练习——小结”的教学过程;所谓标准答案,就是还没有开始上课,教师已然在备课中写出了他所假想的学生应该回答的答案,而这个答案不仅正确无误,而且还是唯一确定的。
这样的备课最为致命的局限在于,首先是对教学中“人”的忽视,其次是认识和处理问题的方式较为简单。
带来的结果就是教师还比较缺乏用整体综合的思维方式对教学作出整体策划和综合设计的能力。
3.“贴标签”式备课,华而不实
有些教师在进行备课和教学时,常常不是注意在教学中体现教育的本质追求,而是关注一些外在的表面形式,把各种新的理念以“贴标签”的方式进行简单的一一相加,使课堂教学形式化、割裂化,华而不实,没有教学效益。
之所以会出现这种情况,主要是教师非常期望自己在课堂教学中体现新课程理念,但是,在新的理念与具体的教学设计及实施过程之间存在着巨大的鸿沟,教师自身往往难以意识到这个鸿沟的存
在,也不知道怎样跨越这个鸿沟,所以只能以“贴标签”的方式来表达自己对新理念的追求。
这种备课,在当下的课堂教学改革中并不少见,甚至还颇受青睐。
4.割裂预设与生成,课堂走向两极
备课是一种“预设”,是对即将要实施的教学活动的假设和预备,而真实的课堂教学具有生成性。
许多教师往往把教学设计中的预设与教学过程中的生成割裂开来,把二者的关系孤立地对立起来,要么一味地执行预设,要么片面地强调生成,把它们当作是一对矛盾的关系来加以思考和解决。
于是,在当前教学中,有些教师一言一行都不折不扣地按照教案来执行,整个课掌古板死气,学生主体性得不到发挥。
而有些教师,只是把教案当作摆设,可有可无,教学过程在否定预设的前提下放任自流地展开,课堂教学表现出盲目和随意的状态,有的课堂甚至出现学生“满堂跑”的现象。
局限于预设和盲目生成的课堂,要么是“万马齐喑”,要么是“天马行空”,都很难使学生获得真实的发展。
5.靠网络备课
网络信息技术的发展,为教师备课、教学提供了很大的便利,但是弊端也随之而来。
很多教师备课并不是去熟悉教材,了解学生,精心设计教学,而是通过网络下载、复制、照搬别人的教案、课件,很多教师写教案就等于“复制十粘贴+打印”,制作课件就等于下载课件或组合课件,学校的集体备课就等于分工搜索下载,并美其名曰“资源共享”;或者从网络中搜罗各种信息,不加分析批判,一股脑儿地搬到教案中。
很多教师一旦上不了网,就手足无措,不知如何备课上课了。
“网络”无疑是教师们工作与学习的得力助手,但当备课上课只剩下“网络”时,教师们就彻底沦落成了知识的搬运工。
6.重课时备课,轻单元备课
有的教师单个课时教案齐全,但缺少单元备课。
有的即使有单元备课,也备得不到位,不实用。
这是由于有的教师受教学水平的限制,不知单元备课要解决什么问题及怎样解决,搞不清该单元在整个教材体系中的地位,找不出一个单元中各章节、各框架标题之间的关系,挖不出知识之间的内在联系,构建不出单元知识框架,从而使单元课有形式无内容。
7.备课改革形式化,教案教学两张皮
当前,改革备课的呼声很高,各种备课的形式、方法,以及教案的格式、写法层出不穷。
但是,很多时候这种改革陷入形式主义的泥沼。
比如,有的学校要求教师集体备课,结果所有教师的教案如出一辙;有的对教案的格式严格要求,要用“点缀的教案来彰显其备课”,教师备课要符合某种“规范和格式”,结果,教师只好去追求检查标准,从而出现了有形无神的备课。
一些教师为证明自己的备课有特色、与众不同,不在备课的内容上花费心血,却在备课的形式上大做文章,有的备课本就变成了书法练习本和美术绘画本。
还有的教师故意在教案上用不同颜色的笔圈圈点点、涂涂画画,哗众取宠,徒有备课之名,而无备课之实。
备课变得言之无物、言之少理或言之无理,其教案根本不能用于教学,教案教学是“两张皮”。
