一般过去时常表示过去某一时间所发生的动作或存在的状态。

一般过去时常和表示过去的时间状语连用。

构成形式：
肯定式： I cried.
否定式： I did not (didn’t) cry.
疑问式： Did I cry?
一般加ed visit - visited
以e结尾的加d dance - danced
以辅音字母加y结尾的改y为i加ed
study - studied
以辅元辅结尾的重读闭音节，双写末尾的辅音字母加ed
stop - stopped
过去式动词的变化
规则变化 (regular change)

动词的不规则变化：
go—went have—had see—saw
eat—ate buy—bought take—took
win—won hang—hung
动词一般过去时，表示过去发生的事。

be用was 或用were; have, has 变had。

谓语动词过去式，过去时间作标志。

一般动词加-ed，若是特殊得注意。

否定句很简单，主语之后didn’t 添。

疑问句也不难，did 放在主语前。

若是谓语之前有did,谓语动词需还原。

动词若是was, were, 否定就把not 添。

Today I went on a school trip. We visited the science museum and it was really interesting. We got there so fast by train. We saw some farms and villages along the way. At the museum, I learned a lot about robots. I didn’t know th ey could play chess with us. It was so cool! Then the guide taught us how to make a model robot. I took a lot of great photos, too. After that, I went to the gift shop and bought some lovely gifts for my parents . They weren’t expensive.
All in all, it was an exciting day.

It was a beautiful and hot day, with th e sun shining in the blue sky. First, we swam in the blue swimming pool. I felt cool and comfortable . Then we enjoyed a wonderful dolphin show. The dolphins were so smart that their performance was welcomed by all the visitors. After that, we played on the water slide. It was really exciting and I heard a lot of people screaming on the slide. Finally, we saw a big waterwheel. It carried water to the high place.
