1教学目标
1、让学生掌握何时用and 何时用but。

(make the students master when to use “and ” as well as when to use “but”)
2、让学生掌握如何来描写一个地方。

(make the students master how to write a description of a place)
2学情分析
写作课的主要目的是让学生会用英文来思维,用英文来表达自己的所想。

这节课时的目的是让学生把在本单元学到的描述地方的句型及短语等用上来描写一个地方,而我们学校的学生绝大多数学生来自于农村,基础差,英语表达能力薄弱,所以写作课一定要从最基础的开始。

3重点难点
1、让学生学会使用并列连词来使写作更加的连贯。

(learn to make use of coordinate conjunctions to make their writing more coherent)
2、使学生掌握如何来描述一个地方。

(make the students master how to write a description of a place)
3、让学生掌握如何通过and 和but 来连贯的描绘一个地方(make the students master how to write a description of a place by using “and ” as well as “but”)

Ask the students to read A lively City again carefully and underline the sentences that contain the c oordinate conjunctions “and”as well as “but”.
