So it’s not surprising that it has one of the most famous beautiful beaches in the world, called Bondi Beach. It’s one of the most beautiful beaches that I’ve ever seen. This is a huge , wide , sandy beach that is very popular fo r water sports, swimming and sunbathing. It’s a great place to visit and to spend some time in. Cathy Freeman: An Australian and Aboriginal hero
One of the great heroes that competed at Australia’s 2000 Olympics was an Aboriginal runner called Cathy Freeman. She is the first Aboriginal runner to win a gold medal at the Commonwealth games in 1994. When she won the gold medal for the 400-meter race in the 2000 Olympics, she carried both an Australian flag and an Aboriginal flag. She has become a symbol of how different cultures in Australia can get along. Many people think she has built “a bridge” that has brought the differ ent cultures closer together.

Work in groups Prepare for your poster.
Choose the English-speaking country you would like to make the poster about. See the list below for some ideas.
Think about the kinds of things you want to know: location, capital, famous places, famous people, customs and traditions

•Look up information on the Internet, or ask people who have visited the country if they have any material for you to borrow.
•Present your information in an interesting way.
