Lesson 2
教材分析
本单元的主题是在活动中巩固1~3单元所学的主要单词和句型。
本课时主要是通过Listen, tick and say、Read and write和Read and circle这些活动,复习巩固1~3单元所包含的时间、天气等话题的核心词汇和句型以及相关语音知识,在不同活动情景中,帮助学生更好地感受核心句型的语义和语用情境。
教学目标
1.能够听懂并理解有关天气的单词sunny、cloudy、rainy、windy和snowy;
2.能运用核心句型“What’s the weather like in …?”“It’s …”进行天气情况的问答并完成信息的收集;
3.能够掌握1~3单元字母组合的发音规律;
4.能够结合图片理解句子含义,并根据语音规则拼写单词,完成句子填空;
5.能够通过阅读文本,理解文本含义,进行图文信息匹配并圈出不对称的信息。
教学重点
1.能够运用有关天气的核心词汇和句型进行问答;
2.能够掌握1~3单元字母组合的发音规律,并根据句义和语音规则正确拼写单词,完成句子,注意句首字母大写;
3.能够结合图片,理解阅读文本含义,并进行图文信息匹配,圈出不相符的信息。
教学难点
1.能够通过听音,完成Listen, tick and say活动,并能正确进行有关天气状况的问答交流;
2.能够运用字母组合的发音规则正确拼写单词;
3.能够结合图片,在语境中理解still、raining、inside和again在文本中的含义,并能快速、正确获取相关信息。
教学准备
1.课件、教材音频、教材视频;
2.Sarah、Amy和John的头饰。
教学过程
Step 1 Lead-in
1.Look, guess and say
学生观察图片预测人物正在谈论的内容,引出相关话题,进而进入到后面相关话题的复习。
T: What are they talking about? Can you guess?
Ss: Maybe about school.
2.Let’s talk
(1)学生两人一组分别饰演陈杰和Sarah,进行对话练习,复习有关学校设施的单词和句型。
T: Look, they are talking about their school. Now ask and answer in pairs with the sentence structures.
S1: Is this the library?
S2: Yes, it is.
(2)学生两人一组分别饰演陈杰和Sarah,进行对话练习,复习有关学校生活的单词和句型。
T: Now, look! What are they talking about?
Ss: About the time.
T: Yes. Now work in pairs to ask and answer with the sentences.
S1: What time is it?
S2: It’s 8. It’s time to go to school.
(3)学生两人一组分别饰演陈杰和Sarah,进行对话练习,复习有关天气的单词和句型。
T: Now look at the pictures. Ask and answer in pairs with the sentences.
S1: What’s the weather like?
S2: It’s windy and cold.
Step 2 Presentation
1.Listen, tick and say
学生观察图表,注意获取相关城市的名称,再听录音选出对应城市的天气,然后再利用核心句型进行问答。
通过上面的这些活动,帮助学生巩固复习有关天气的核心词汇和句型。
T: Look, which cities are they talking about?
Ss: They are talking about Beijing, Shanghai, Harbin, Lhasa, Sanya and Hong Kong.
T: What’s the weather like in these cities? Now listen and tick the right weather in the table. And then work in pairs in roles to ask and answer.
2.Read and write
学生看图、读句子,根据句义拼写单词完成句子,复习巩固字母组合ir、al、ur和ar的发音规则。
T: Look at the pictures and read the sentences first. Then try to fill in the blanks.
3.Circle the big letters.
学生圈出句子中的大写字母,掌握句子的首字母要大写的书写规则。
T: Read the sentences and circle the big letters, please.
T: What do you find? What should we pay attention to in a sentence?
4.Read and circle
逐一呈现教材文本图片,学生观察图片,读句子,圈出与图片不符合的信息并改正。
通过这个活动,帮助学生理解文本细节。
T: Look at each picture and read the sentences, then circle the words and correct.
5.Number the pictures and say
学生将图片按故事顺序排好,整体回顾文本信息,运用核心句型“It’s …”“It’s time for/to …”“It’s windy/… outside.”就时间、天气等进行谈论,复习巩固1~3单元的核心词汇和句型。
T: Then number the pictures and talk about them with the key sentences.
Step 3 Practice
1.Listen and imitate
听录音逐句跟读,注意语音语调的模仿,培养学生的语感。
2.Fill and say
学生阅读文本,完成表格,再次梳理文章细节。
学生根据完成的表格要点,以John的
角色复述文本,增强语感,加深对故事文本的理解。
Step 4 Consolidation
Write and say
T: Now design your own timetable and share it with others.
学生设计自己的时间表格,包括时间、天气、要做的事情等,然后互相分享。
本活动为学生提供不同层次、形式多样的操练活动,使抽象的语言知识形象化、具体化。
Step 5 Summary
T: Let’s summarize what we’ve learned this class.
Words: still, raining, inside, again
Sentences:
What’s the weather like in …? It’s sunny/…
It is 6 o’clock. It’s sunny outside. I get up and have breakfast.
It is still raining! But it is warm inside.
Step 6 Homework
1.Follow the tape to read the story aloud.
