楚门的世界观后感(英文版)
the truman show
the truman show was be on 1998, and the director is peter weir. it is avery classic film. in this film, truman’s life was made into a reality tv his parents, wife and friends were actors. finally, he realized it andsucceeded in leaving the style of life. for one thing, the story is not onlydifferent but also very novel. it seems strange and misty at the beginning, which carries a foreshadowing of what is to follow later on in this story. whois truman and what is going to tell us? however when we know what happened totruman, we are shocked by that creative spot. then we are wandering what hispursuit for. the director seizes we audiences’curiosity perfectly. for another, its language is very humorous. for example, ”good morning! and in case i don’tsee you, good afternoon, good evening and good night! ” . this movie impressesme deeply and i think it is very meaningful. on the one hand, though trumanlived in a peaceful world, he refused to accept
that style of life, which wasnot managed by himself. he, including us, can not bear being tricked andcontrolled. i wander if everyone has the same courage to expose the life filledwith lie? on the other hand, the media plays a important role in our daily can you imagine that you are a leading actor in a reality tv show one day?nobody wants to be a victim of media. this movie is a good sarcasm of modernmedia. it tells us not to rely on media everywhere and anytime, and sometimes weshould have our own judgments. in a word, it is more wonderful for us to directour own life .it may be not peaceful enough, but it has the freedom our pursuitfor.
楚门的世界观后感英语
jim carrey proved he could play it straight (well, at least a portion ofthe time) as a family man in liar liar, his 1997 comedy blockbuster. with thetruman show, the elastic-faced, loose-limbed dynamo shows he can also be asserious as needed, in the title role of this imaginative tale of anelectronic-age guinea pig
. screenwriter andrew niccol, whose directing
debut, gattaca, cautioned against the potential tyranny of genetic advances, againfinds reasons for paranoia in technological progress, as an innocent namedtruman burbank becomes the unknowing, all-consuming subject of a 24-hourtelevision network. niccol's unconventional fable is superbly realized bydirector peter weir (fearless, dead poets society, witness), who fashions adisorienting visual style to fit the artifice and pent-up anxiety of truman'sworld.
niccol and weir shrewdly immerse the audience in this oddly cheerfulenvironment, without immediate explanations of what's really going on behind itssunny fa?ade. truman lives with his wholesome wife meryl (laura linney) in apicture-perfect house in the squeaky-clean island community of seahaven, wherehe works for a large insurance firm. his days paby uneventfully, until a seriesof incidents shake him out of his complacency: a huge piece of lightingequipment falls out of the sky. a homeleman appears who looks just like truman'sdead father. strange radio transmissions, like stage directions, come out of hiscar radio. for the first time, truman begins to suspect that something
is rottenin seahaven.
nearly halfway through the film, we learn the truth: since birth, trumanhas been watched by a phalanx of hidden cameras, his every waking movetransmitted to an increasingly addicted, international television is actually the world's largest studio set; the sky, the ocean, thestars and the sunsets are fakes, and the weather is controlled by outsideforces. what's more, everyone truman encounters in his daily routine is anactor-even his wife and his best friend marlon (noah emmerich) are on thepayroll. this enormous charade is the handiwork of christof (ed harris), amegalomaniacal conceptual artist who sees nothing wrong with the mass-appealsocial experiment he's concocted. christof has kept truman from puncturing theboundaries of his world by staging a chil
dhood boating accident in which theboy's father apparently drowned; truman has been deathly afraid of the waterever since. the other key incident in truman's life was unplanned-a buddingromantic affair with a 'college student' who tried to spill the secret
ofseahaven, but was suddenly sent away to the island of fiji (or so trumanbelieves).
楚门的世界英文观后感
truman was a man, ordinary, like the life around us. he has many desires, and very easy to meet. therefore,he sometimes ecstatic, sometimes rusangkaobi, most of the time the loss depressed, overwhelmed. at this time, there has been adirector of genius useless, and he constantly create new stimuli, so that hebecomes ups and downs in the long drama, appetizing. truman happy he would givehim time to create some trouble, when in its depressed, then seize theopportunity to open it alive. he made such romantic novels as blonde suddenlyappeared in the sight of truman, his erotic valve open, letting her suddendeparture, so the mind fall into a bottomless abyss; he had never met before totruman "late father" suddenly appeared, to recognize exaggerated comic scenesmake it in your eyes, but also make the tv viewing audience tears; he broughttruman's close friends in their emotional bad time to care for him, enlightenhe, so that it felt the "oasis in the desert" and rebirth of confidence, although the friend
is an actor, and is carrying a large segment of lines ......
who admire the film brilliant and arrogant genius director, he leads peopleto think of god, also saw the weak, tired, helpless and confusion truman was thehypocrisy of the play again, or for life and the future with optimism when thewaves in my heart to sorrow and grief, i could not bear to face - can not bearto face a real "us"!

enough to make us love this world; setbacks, not enough to make us abandonthis world. god is like the genius as a director, holds a very good degree, heknew that when a blow to us, when we gave a warm fire burned,he allows us tomaintain hope in pain, in hope endure pain, the pain making the story as waves, but also
making the ratings, the hope is to train and gave us the appearancefees, so we are not so half-way stop play.
the end of the movie, truman is awake, and he told the camera, really the"god" strike played out. panic talented director, he will lose the audience, hestrove to retain truman, the director told him to leave the control of the worldis very dangerous, but truman was out of that door, walks over to the darkunknown world,he said that the world waiting for him no matter what,he did notcare. buddhism, the "epiphany" one said, and that a complete self-sufficiency ofhuman nature is dead in the dust covering it, it lost. truman is the insight itseems, he should get back the lost self, the self-contained complete andcarefree nature.
