第八讲巧夺天工的连篇技巧

有效地使用语句间的连接成分巧妙地衔接过渡，利用好“开篇、承接、转折、总结”四个方法使文章流畅自然，是考生在书面表达题目上争创高分的非常重要的条件。

一、开篇——创造良好开端
1.常用表达“开篇”的过渡词语(常用在段落或文章的开头)
first，first of all，at first，in the first place，firstly，to start with，recently，now，at present，in recent years，in general，generally speaking，at present，lately，currently等。

2.常用表达“开篇”的句型
(1)It is often said that...
(2)As the proverb says...
(3)It goes without saying that...
(4)It is clear/obvious that...
(5)Many people often ask...
Firstly I collected all the books，newspapers and other things scattered in the rooms and put them in place.(陕西卷)
It’s often said that all work without play makes Jack a dull boy.
As the proverb says，no pains，no gains.(北京卷)
二、承接——顺势承上又启下
1.常用表达“承接”的过渡词语
secondly，in addition，besides，moreover，what is more，what is worse，for example，in other words，especially，particularly，obviously，at the same time，no doubt meanwhile，as a consequence等。

2.常用表达“承接”的句型：
(1)It is true that...
(2)Everybody knows that...
(3)It can be easily proved that...
(4)No one can deny that...
(5)The reason why...is that...
(6)There is no doubt that...
(7)To take...for example (instance)...
(8)What is more serious is that...
In addition，I will go on a trip to Sichuan，where there are a great number of places of interest.
Meanwhile，I will regard it as my duty to help keep our environment clean and healthy. As a consequence，children become so reliant on their parents that they have no independent thought or creative ideas.
三、转折——利用转折巧过渡
1.常用表达“转折”的过渡词语
but，however，on the other hand，on the contrary，in any case，or，or else，while，despite，in spite of，regardless of，instead等。

2.常用表达“转折”的句型
(1)Every coin has two sides.
(2)But for...I would never...
(3)Another example is that...
(4)Taking everything into consideration...
(5)That’s why I feel that...
There will be many challenges ahead，but I have confidence that I’ll take on the burden.
However，it is not so easy for people to realize their dreams every time.
四、总结——完美结束全文
常用表达“总结”的过渡词语：in a word，in general，in short，above all，finally，in conclusion，at last，in summary，as a result，on the whole，in one’s opinion 等。

常用表达“总结”的句型：
1.Something must be done to...
2.It can be safely concluded from...that...
3.In my opinion，we can draw the conclusion that...
4.It may be summed up as follows...
It may be briefly summed up as follows：it’s high time that our government took some measures to improve our environment.
In my opinion，people need to learn to accept the reality and keep on trying.

1.With__the__development__of__ the Internet，computers play an important role in people’s life.
随着因特网的发展，计算机在人们的生活中起着重要作用。

2.Generally__speaking/On__the__whole/In__general,__the more you practise，the more skillfully you can write in English.
总的来说，你练习越多，用英语写作就越熟练。

3.Take__Beijing__for__example，it is one of the oldest cities in the world.
就拿北京来说吧，它是世界上最古老的都市之一。

4.That__is__to__say，if you want to succeed，you have to believe in yourself. 也就是说，如果你想成功，必须相信自己。

5.As__far__as__I__am__concerned，I love wealth，but I value health more.
就我而言，我喜欢财富，但我更看重健康。

6.In__my__opinion，people shall not smoke in public places.
按照我的观点，人们不应该在公共场所抽烟。

7.In__a__word/In__conclusion/In__short/In__brief/To__sum__up，a good citizen should observe traffic regulations.
总之，一个好市民应该遵守交通规则。

8.Besides/What’s__more/In__addition/Moreover/Furthermore,__our class also organize a variety of activities to enrich our spare time.
另外，我们班还组织了各种各样的活动来丰富我们的业余时间。

9.Worse__still/To__make__matters__worse,__if we spend too much time on phones，we will lose the communication skills we need in the future.
更糟的是，如果我们在电话上花费过多的时间，我们会失去将来需要的交际技能。
