前面板及端口介绍:端口•10GbE CX4—The CX4 interface requires the use of copper cabling, similar to the variety used in InfiniBand technology, and is designed to work up to a distance of 15 m. CX4 technology is an attractive solution because it has the lowest cost per port of all 10Gb interconnects, at the expense of range. CX4 has a bigger form factor than either SFP or SFP+.•10GbE XFP ports—These 10GbE ports support SR (multi-mode fiber, 300 m) and LR (single-mode fiber, 10 km) optic transceivers based on the XFP version of the small form factor pluggable specification.XFP transceivers have a smaller form factor compared to several standards (XENPAK, X2, XPAK) that preceded it. The XFP ports support Industry Standard Servers (ISS) optics only.•1GbE SFP ports—These 1GbE ports support SX (multi-mode fiber, 550 m) and LX (single-mode fiber, 10 km) optic transceivers basedon the SFP version of the small form factor pluggable specification using an LC physical connector. These ports also support 1000BASE-T copper connections using an RJ-45 connector. The SFP ports support ISS and ProCurve optics.•10/100/1000 RJ-45 ports—These ports support standard RJ-45 Ethernet cables and each port can operate at one of three autosensing speeds.•5x 10GbE SFP+ ports—These five ports are dedicated10GbE SFP+ ports that support SR (multi-mode fiber, 300 m), LR (single-mode fiber, 10 km), and LRM (multi-mode fiber, 220 m) optic SFP+ transceivers.•2x 10GbE SFP+ ports—Individually, the two ports labeled 23 and 24 can be used as either external 10GbE SFP+ ports or internal 10GbE switch-to-switch (cross-link) ports. For SFP+ connectivity, these ports support the same fiber optic transceivers as the other SFP+ ports.•Internal Network Ports—The 6120G/XG also has “internal”Ethernet ports that function as downlinks to devices in the enclosure. The internals ports are essentially communication interfaces used to transfer data to and from server blades, storage blades, and even another 6120G/XG (if it is installed in an adjacent bay of the enclosure). The internal ports use the enclosure’smidplane circuitry to communicate with the other c-Class enclosure components.•Management Port—The IP address within the OA subnet that you assign to the blade switch is used by a switch component known as Out-Of-Band Management (OOBM).

The series is part of the OfficeConnect portfolio of Hewlett Packard Enterprise small business networking products. These Gigabit switches are plug-and-play out of the box, yet network operations can be fine-tuned through features available from a simple Web browser-based GUI, if necessary. Enhance security using virtual LANs, link aggregation, or IGMP Snooping boost uplink performance, and loop prevention enhances network reliability..The series consists of 8-, 24-, and 48-port 10/100/1000BASE-T models each providing non-blocking gigabit per port performance. All models can be rack mounted and include the necessary rack-mounting hardware; the 8-port model can also be wall mounted. All models come with internal power supplies and localized power cord removing the need to manage externalpower adapters. The 8- and 24-port models are fanless for silent operation.HPE OfficeConnect 1620 Switch Series is covered by a limited lifetime warranty.Features and benefitsManagement•Simple Web managementallows for easy management of the switch even by nontechnical users through an intuitive Web GUI; supports HTTP and HTTP Secure (HTTPS)•Secure Web GUIprovides a secure, easy-to-use graphical interface for configuring the switch via HTTPS.•SNMPv1, v2c, v3facilitates management of the switch, as the device can be discovered and monitored from an SNMP management station.•Port mirroringenables traffic on a port to be simultaneously sent to a network analyzer for monitoring.•Default DHCP client modeallows the switch to be directly connected to a network, enabling plug-and-play operation; in absence of a DHCP server on the network, the switch will fall back to a unique static address determined by the switch's MAC address.•Network Time Protocol (NTP)synchronizes timekeeping among distributed time servers and clients; keeps timekeeping consistent among all clock-dependent devices within the network so that the devices can provide diverse applications based on the consistent time.•Manual network time configurationmanually set the date and time on the switch in the absence of a NTP server.•Dual flash imagesprovides independent primary and secondary operating system files for backup while upgrading •Limited CLIenables users to quickly deploy and troubleshoot devices in the network.Quality of Service (QoS)•IEEE 802.1p prioritization with DSCPdelivers data from the switch to devices based on the priority and type of traffic using Differentiated Services Code Point (DSCP).•Broadcast controlallows limitation of broadcast traffic rate to cut down on unwanted network broadcast traffic.•Rate limitingsets per-port ingress enforced maximums and per-port, per-queue minimums.Connectivity•Auto-MDI/MDIXautomatically adjusts for straight-through or crossover cables on all ports.•IEEE 802.3X flow controlprovides a flow throttling mechanism propagated through the network to prevent packet loss at a congested node.•Loopback detectionif the switch detects a loop, it disables the source port from forwarding data packets originating from the switch to avoid broadcast storms.•Energy Efficient Ethernetcompliant with IEEE 802.3az standard requirements to save energy during periods of low data activity.•Port power save modeenables a port to operate at the lowest transmission speed or go down during a specific time range on certain days of a week. The port resumes when the effective time period ends.•Cable testperforms a check on the status of the cable connected to an Ethernet port on the device. The test determines whether a short circuit or open circuit is present on the cable and the approximate length to the fault in the cable. Performance•Half-/full-duplex auto-negotiating capability on every portdoubles the throughput of every port.•IGMP snooping, v1, v2 and v3improves network performance through multicast filtering, instead of flooding traffic to all ports.Layer 2 switching•VLAN support and taggingsupports IEEE 802.1Q with 4096 simultaneous VLAN IDs.•Jumbo frame supportsupports up to 10 kilobyte frame size to improve the performance of large data transfers.Resiliency and high availability•Link aggregationgroups together multiple ports (up to a maximum of eight ports per trunk) automatically using Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP), or manually, to form an ultra-high-bandwidth connection to the network backbone; helps prevent traffic bottlenecks. NOTE:8 port model support 4 trunks, 24 port model support 8 trunks, and the 48 port model support 16 trunks.Warranty and support•Limited Lifetime WarrantySee /officeconnect/support for warranty and support information included with your productpurchase.Build To Order: BTO is a standalone unit with no integration. The intended audience is HP Solution Architects, HP Technical Consultants, HP resellers and HP customers. Background InformationCustomer networks have become a critical component in the daily operation of a company. A network outage can result in lost revenue as well as lost productivity from unavailable resources. While some outages are related to failures, most outages are due to a misconfiguration or a small hardware failure, like a NIC card, that has ultimately failed. While most networks employ VLANs to reduce broadcast traffic, there are certain instances where having a VRF are more beneficial. One such instance is when R&D or test labs are connected to the corporate network. Having separate infrastructures is no longer a viable option due to the rising CAPEX and OPEX costs to maintain these standalone networks. By deploying VRFs, these labs are isolated from the corporate network so any failures or misconfigurations can be contained local and not result in a corporate wide outage. VRFs can also provide a level of network security since these lab environments, if compromised, cannot access corporate resources. While some manufacturers, including HP, have released virtualization features that segment out a single physical switch, sometimes the implementation of a switch that has these features is cost prohibitive and typically is limited in scale. VRFs provide another way to accomplish this network segmentation and isolation. RequirementsReaders of this document should be familiar with features and configuration of HP switches. The following hardware is required:•HP Networking switches that support the VRF feature. In this guide a core switch, HP 12500, is used with 5800s and 5820s as the IDF switches. The following software is required:•The latest firmware should be used. The following tools are required:•If a demonstration of the feature is necessary, having a server and some end points as well as access to a traffic generation tool will help demonstrate failure scenarios.Network DiagramFigure 1 illustrates the connectivity for this configuration.Figure 1 VRF Network DiagramConfigureFirst we will configure the core switch since this is really the bulk of the configuration steps. If HP’s IRF technology is to be used, the switches should already be configured with IRF before continuing. Core Device Configuration•Create an IP-VPN instance and Route-Distinguisher (RD)[VRF-Core]ip vpn-instance idf[VRF-Core-vpn-instance-idf]route-distinguisher 100:1[VRF-Core]ip vpn-instance server[VRF-Core-vpn-instance-idf]route-distinguisher 101:1[VRF-Core]ip vpn-instance disti[VRF-Core-vpn-instance-idf]route-distinguisher 102:1The RD is just a distinguishing number used for the routing table and as such can be arbitrary. In this example we will use the transport VLAN for the different VPN-instances.•Create the VLANs that will be used to transport port information between VRFs. You can also at this point create any VLANs that are going to be associated with each VRF or are to be configured on the core device itself.[VRF-Core]vlan 100 to 102[VRF-Core-vlan100]vlan 10 to 20•Create and bind the vlan-interface to each vpn-instance. It is recommended that you configure the IP address after binding the interface since this command removes any previously configured information.[VRF-Core] interface vlan-interface 100[VRF-Core-Vlan-interface100]ip binding vpn-instance idf[VRF-Core-Vlan-interface100]ip address 172.16.100.254 24[VRF-Core] interface vlan-interface 101[VRF-Core-Vlan-interface101]ip binding vpn-instance server[VRF-Core-Vlan-interface101]ip address 172.16.101.254 24[VRF-Core] interface vlan-interface 102[VRF-Core-Vlan-interface102]ip binding vpn-instance disti[VRF-Core-Vlan-interface102]ip address 172.16.102.254 24•Create the bridge aggregation groups that you will be using to connect the IDF, server farm and distribution switches to the core[VRF-Core] interface Bridge-Aggregation100[VRF-Core-Bridge-Aggregation100]port link-type trunk[VRF-Core-Bridge-Aggregation100]port trunk permit vlan 1 10 20100 [VRF-Core-Bridge-Aggregation100]link-aggregation modedynamic[VRF-Core-Bridge-Aggregation100]mad enable•Create the remaining bridge aggregation groups and add the corresponding ports to the groups(CLI commands omitted)Configure Core Device RoutingTo be able to route between VRFs the following steps must be taken. Once configured, all VLANs in all VRFs will be able to communicate. If certain VLANs are to be restricted, route policies must be configured to prevent routing information from being exchanged.[VRF-Core]bgp 65000[VRF-Core-bgp]router-id 1.1.1.1[VRF-Core-bgp]ipv4-family vpn-instance idf[VRF-Core-bgp-idf]peer 172.16.100.252 as-number 65001[VRF-Core-bgp-idf]peer 172.16.100.253 as-number 65001[VRF-Core-bgp-idf]import-route direct[VRF-Core-bgp-idf]quit[VRF-Core-bgp]ipv4-family vpn-instance server[VRF-Core-bgp-server]peer 172.16.101.253 as-number 65002[VRF-Core-bgp- server]import-route direct[VRF-Core-bgp- server]quit[VRF-Core-bgp]ipv4-family vpn-instance disti[VRF-Core-bgp-disti]peer 172.16.102.253 as-number 65003[VRF-Core-bgp- disti]import-route direct[VRF-Core-bgp- disti]quit•The following commands are what allow the exchange of routing information between VRFs. Note that the RD used is that of the vpn-instance you are trying to reach not of the originating vpn-instance.[VRF-Core-vpn-instance-idf]vpn-target 101:1 both[VRF-Core-vpn-instance-idf]vpn-target 102:1 both[VRF-Core-vpn-instance-server]vpn-target 100:1 both[VRF-Core-vpn-instance-server]vpn-target 102:1 both[VRF-Core-vpn-instance-disti]vpn-target 100:1 both[VRF-Core-vpn-instance-disti]vpn-target 101:1 bothEdge Device ConfigurationFor this scenario, the intelligence of VRF is in the core 12500 hardware. Each stackable switchhas minimal configuration.•First configure the VLANs that each device will have locally as well as the transport VLAN for VRF.[vrf-idf01]vlan 10[vrf-idf01]vlan 20[vrf-idf01]vlan 100•Next configure the IP address for each VLAN[vrf-idf01-Vlan-interface100]ip address 172.16.100.253 24[vrf-idf01-Vlan-interface10]ip address 10.1.10.1 24[vrf-idf01-Vlan-interface20]ip address 10.1.20.1 24 •Create the Bridge Aggregation group and add the corresponding ports to the group[VRF-idf01] interface Bridge-Aggregation100[VRF-idf01-Bridge-Aggregation100]port link-type trunk[VRF-idf01-Bridge-Aggregation100]port trunk permit vlan 110 20 100[VRF-idf01-Bridge-Aggregation100]link-aggregation modedynamic[VRF-idf01-Ten-GigabitEthernet1/0/1]port link-type trunk[VRF-idf01-Ten-GigabitEthernet1/0/1]port trunk permit vlan1 10 20 100[VRF-idf01-Ten-GigabitEthernet1/0/1]port link-aggregationgroup 100Configure Edge Device Routing•The final step is to configure BGP on the IDF switch(es). In this example, a static route has been configured to the core. A dynamic routing protocol could be used as well.[VRF-idf01]bgp 65001[VRF-idf01-bgp]peer 172.16.100.254 as-number 65000[VRF-idf01-bgp]quit[VRF-idf01]ip route-static 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 172.16.100.254 DemonstrationHere’s an example of a demonstration that can be used to verify this configuration:Introduce a broadcast storm in a VRF to show that it stays localized. Creating a STP Loop isanother effective demo as well.∙If you have access to Ixia test gear, this equipment can generate a broadcast storm at line rate 10G.∙To prove that only the local VRF is affected, streaming video and ICMP requests were monitored in the other VRFs. A physical server in the server VRF can share a folder and laptops in the otherVRFs (IDF and Disti) can play the same video. When there is no broadcast storm, the videos are in sync and play smoothly and there are no ICMP timeouts. When the Ixia test port was enabled and introduced a broadcast storm into a VRF, video degradation was seen only on the laptop in thesame VRF as the Ixia and there were multiple ICMP timeouts. Once the broadcast was eliminated the video resumed playing normally with no ICMP timeouts.∙If test equipment or a traffic generator isn’t available you could use hacking tools like Metasploit and launch a DOS attack or ping of death to achieve similar results.Appendix A – ConfigurationsBelow are the actual configurations from an IRF 12508 core with 5800, 5820 and 5500-EI as edge devices:Core

ip de fault-gate way<ip-a ddress>B lue(c onfi g)#ip def ault-gat eway192.168.0.1H P系列产品提供了P ing和tra cero ute来检查网路的联通状况p ing命令示例:Blue(config)#pi ng192.168.0.1T racer out e命令示例:Blue(config)#tr aceroute192.168.10.11.2使用TELNET或者WEB方式对交换机进行配置1.2.1使用TELNET方式对交换机进行配置1.配置CLI接口访问语法:show conso le下面图例显示交换机缺省的控制台,串口的配置信息:接口访问允许/禁列出事件值和类型控制台控制选项语法:[no]tel net-server语法:Procurv e(config)#no telnet-s erver语法:Procurv e(config)#t elnet-serv er语法:Procurv e(config)#t elnet192.168.2.351.2.2通过WEB方式对交换机进行配置语法:[no]web-management语法:Procurv e(config)#no web-mana gement语法:Procurv e(config)#w eb-managem ent可以后如下图所示:1.3设置用户名及密码1.

语法:[no]passwo rd<manager/operator> [user-name ASC II][no]pas sword all>置操作员密码用设置用(操作员只有只读的权限)B lue#configB lue(c onfi g)#password opera tor12345678(密码将显示成:********)12345678为密码12345678(再次输入密码进行校验)置管理员B lue#configB lue(c onfi g)#password manag er usernam e svacomm svacomm为用户名12345678(密码将显示成:********)12345678为密码12345678(再次输入密码进行校验)2.

语法:[no ]sn mpv3 e nabl e语法:[no ]sn mpv3 o nl y语法:[no ]sn mpv3 r estr i cted -a cces s 语法:s h o w sn mpv3 e n a ble语法:s h o w sn mpv3 rest r icted -acce ss以下案例将详细介绍了 S NMPV3 的详细配置:打开 SNMPv3SNMPV3 管理程序建立初始用户模式设 置 限 制 非 SNMPV3 信息。

/rnd/software/switches.htm该站点包含了最新的升级软件。

实例:将TFT P服务器上的映像文件拷贝到交换机上区域:第二章二层相关协议设置2.1端口的命名方式HP5300/5400交换机的面板如下图所示,端口在配置文件中的命名是以槽位/序号的方式进行:以5406为例,槽位编号从左至右,从上到下分别是:A、B、C、D、E、F 如A模块的第一个端口就叫:A1其它的非模块化交换机的端口命名以序号标识:如2626的15个端口就是15给一个端口或一些端口配置一个友好的名字语法:inte rfac e<port-list>na m e<port-nam e-在端口列表中删除实例:给一个端口配置一个名字l in k_w eb_se r v ertest_5304xl(co nfig)#i n t a1n a m e lin k_w eb_ser v ertest_5304xl(co nfig)#s h o w na m ePort N a m esPort Typ e N a m eA1100/1000T l in k_w eb_ser v er2.2端口物理参数配置1.
