句中claim 一次既可作动词,意思是:提出要求,认领,索取;也可用作名词,意思是:要求,认领,书面要求。

Claims any expenses 意思是:索取业务经费,即人们通常说的到财务部门报销。

Enclose receipts with the claim 意思是在索取经费的清单上附上发票。

IV. Think-it-overReading 3 What are the differences between memos, notes and notices?1. Memo: addressed to groups or individuals. More formal status than a note. Formal style, noomission of words, no abbreviations, formal style of address, use of job titles. 备忘录:写给部门或个人的文字。

问题类别比便条证实。

格式正规,不可省略词语。

不可使用缩写词,表达的口气要真实,使用工作的职衔。

2. Notes: addressed to an individual. Informal, short, abbreviations(tel no.) contractions(you’ve), omission of subjects, auxiliaries and articles.(I can’t find) use of first names. 便条:写给个人的文字。

非正式,简短,可以使用缩写词所曰此可以省略主语,主动词和冠词,可以直呼其名。
