2014年同等学力英语语法名词一归纳考点名词是人、动物、事物、地方、状态、品质或动作的名称。
它可以表示具体的东西，也可以表示抽象的事物。
名词可分为专有名词，如London、China；普通名词，如rice、department 两大类。
其中，普通名词又分为个体名词，如an agreement、a companion；集体名词，如family、furniture；物质名词，如sugar、perfume；抽象名词，如poverty、destination四种。
个体名词和集合名词均为可数名词，在句子中要么加冠词，要么加其复数形式。
