The colour of friendship: I am the colour of health. I carry the most important vitamins. Think of carrots, pumpkins, oranges, papayas. I don’t hang around all the time, but when I fill the sky at sunrise or sunset, I am the most beautiful colour.
Rain began to speak: you foolish colours, fighting amongst yourselves. Don’t you know that you were each made for a special purpose, unique and different join hands with one another and come to me.
Red: Without me, the earth would be as empty as the moon. I am the colour of passion and of love, the red rose. I am blood-life’s blood.
Purple: I am the colour of royalty and power. Kings have always chosen me for I am the sign of wisdom. People do not question me! They listen and obey.
Blue said: You only think about the earth, but consider the sky and the sea. Without me, you would all be nothing.

Unit 2 Colours单元整体分析本单元是义务教育人教版(pep)小学英语教科书三年级上册第二单元。
单元主题为Colours(颜色)。
本单元除了颜色类的词汇之外,还会继续学习如何介绍、问候他人。
主情景图通过孩子们去画画时见面的场景,来呈现本单元关于介绍、问候他人的重点句型。
本单元共分A、B、C三部分。
A部分共三页,分三课时。
第一课时为情景对话和练习部分。
Miss White(怀特老师)在向Mr. Jones介绍Miss Green。
呈现出介绍人的句子:This is ... 以及打招呼用语:Good morning. 接下来的Draw and say活动,学生要画出人物,并使用重点句式来介绍画中人。
第二课时的Let’s learn部分学习四个颜色名称:red, yellow, green, blue. 教材通过孩子们观察雨后彩虹中的颜色来引出词汇及句子:I see green. 并通过Le t’s do里Show me green的指令,来使学生操练颜色类单词。
在第三课时Letters and sounds部分里,学生开始学习字母ABCD四个字母的字形、书写及其在单词里的发音。
B部分共四页,分两课时。
第一课时仍然呈现情景对话和练习。
Wu Yifan到Mike家里做客,Mike向妈妈介绍Wu Yifan。
Wu Yifan同Mike的妈妈互相打招呼问候,在此过程中引出重点句式:Good afternoon. Nice to meet you. 接下来的Let’s play中,学生要使用手偶来进行角色扮演,完成对话练习,操练本课时学习到的重点句式。
第二课时中Let’s learn 部分通过孩子们给Zoom和Zip的图像涂色,引出本单元的另外四个颜色名称:black, white, orange, brown. 并在Let’s do中呈现了四个与颜色相关的指令性活动:Sit down. Stand up. Touch the ground. Turn around. Start to read及Let’s check针对本单元的复习、检查活动与C部分的故事合并为一个课时。
