The colour of friendship: I am the colour of health. I carry the most important vitamins. Think of carrots, pumpkins, oranges, papayas. I don’t hang around all the time, but when I fill the sky at sunrise or sunset, I am the most beautiful colour.

Purple: I am the colour of royalty and power. Kings have always chosen me for I am the sign of wisdom. People do not question me! They listen and obey.
Blue said: You only think about the earth, but consider the sky and the sea. Without me, you would all be nothing.

Unit 2 Colours单元整体分析本单元是义务教育人教版（pep）小学英语教科书三年级上册第二单元。
单元主题为Colours（颜色）。
本单元除了颜色类的词汇之外，还会继续学习如何介绍、问候他人。
主情景图通过孩子们去画画时见面的场景，来呈现本单元关于介绍、问候他人的重点句型。
本单元共分A、B、C三部分。
A部分共三页，分三课时。
第一课时为情景对话和练习部分。
Miss White（怀特老师）在向Mr. Jones介绍Miss Green。
呈现出介绍人的句子：This is ... 以及打招呼用语：Good morning. 接下来的Draw and say活动，学生要画出人物，并使用重点句式来介绍画中人。
第二课时的Let’s learn部分学习四个颜色名称：red, yellow, green, blue. 教材通过孩子们观察雨后彩虹中的颜色来引出词汇及句子：I see green. 并通过Le t’s do里Show me green的指令，来使学生操练颜色类单词。
在第三课时Letters and sounds部分里，学生开始学习字母ABCD四个字母的字形、书写及其在单词里的发音。
B部分共四页，分两课时。
第一课时仍然呈现情景对话和练习。
Wu Yifan到Mike家里做客，Mike向妈妈介绍Wu Yifan。
Wu Yifan同Mike的妈妈互相打招呼问候，在此过程中引出重点句式：Good afternoon. Nice to meet you. 接下来的Let’s play中，学生要使用手偶来进行角色扮演，完成对话练习，操练本课时学习到的重点句式。
第二课时中Let’s learn 部分通过孩子们给Zoom和Zip的图像涂色，引出本单元的另外四个颜色名称：black, white, orange, brown. 并在Let’s do中呈现了四个与颜色相关的指令性活动：Sit down. Stand up. Touch the ground. Turn around. Start to read及Let’s check针对本单元的复习、检查活动与C部分的故事合并为一个课时。
