党的十八大首次提出建设“美丽中国”，这一概念的提出旨在优化国土空间开发格局，促进生活空间宜居，追求生态和谐，着力构建全国的绿网系统。

同时对于中国滨海发展起到了创新引领的作用。

广东省绿道建设先行
2012年《广东省绿道网建设总体规划（2011—2015）》获得省政府正式批复，明确提出规划建设全省绿道网。

确保到2015年建成总长8770公里的省立绿道（含珠三角已建的2372公里），以保护生态、改善宜居、促进经济为主线建设全省绿道网。

18th CPC National Congress firstly came up with developing
“Beautiful China”. This concept is targeted at optimizing
development pattern of national land, promoting living space,
pursuing ecology and harmony and striving to build nationwide
green space system. It also innovates and leads oceanfront
development in China。

《Guangdong Provincial Green Space System Development
Overall Planning(2011-2015) 》was approved officially by
provincial government in 2012. it definitely comes up with
planning and developing provincial greenway system and
ensures provincial greenway reaching 8770 km long by 2015
(including existing 2372 km in Pearl River Delta) to build
provincial greenway system focusing on preserving ecology,
improving living space and promoting economy.

基地位于汕头湾南岸、隶属濠江区北部滨海地带，背山面海，用地相对独立，。

南滨片区是修通南滨路、围填海涂而形成的城市新区，该片区东起葛洲村，西至红星村与礐石风景区交界处，北临汕头湾，南靠礐石风景区。

Located on south of Shantou Bay, the site belongs to bay front zone on north of Haojiang district, facing the sea and backed by mountains with relatively independent land use. Nanbin Area is a urban new district reclaimed from the sea after completion of Nanbin road. This area begins with Gezhou village on the east, connects to the junction of Hongxing village and Queshi scenic area on the west, adjacent to Shantou Bay on the north and nearby Queshi scenic area on the south.

滨海湾绿道系统连接滨海三座城市花园，以及沿水岸鳞次栉比的小花园，一方面形成滨海湾和花园之间“亲密的关系”，一方面让游客与海滨亲密接触的同时能欣赏金融区优美的天际线。

滨海湾绿道系统作为一个示范项目，充分展示了新加坡作为热带花园城市的精髓，营造出适宜居住、工作和娱乐的完美环境。

Singapore is struggling to shift value concept from garden city to world urban amid the garden. The government makes overall planning and enhances urban green landscape so that environment quality has been improved a lot for Singapore citizen.
Marina Bay greenway system connects up with three urban gardens on the bay front and numerous small gardens along the waterfront, which on one hand build imitate connection between Marina Bay and gardens; on the other hand, tourists can appreciate excellent skyline in financial district while closely interacting with the Bay.
As a demonstration project, Marina Bay greenway system fully reflects the essence of Singapore being tropical garden city, establish perfect environment suitable for living, working and entertainment.

Eco protection:greenway route is distributed along river and water system where natural
resources such as mangrove wetland park,green space,mountain are linked up,improving
sound recycle of urban eco system.
Activities:dozens of activities such as biking along Nanbin,hiking in mangrove,mountain climbing,water play at the edge meet the ends of people in varied ages and lead healthy sports. Facility:diverse supporting facilities such as interchange,traffic stop,retails,toilet,resting bench, signage are distributed along greenway to boost greenway function and convenience.
绿道应将城市中的历史遗迹、文化设施、滨海古老码头等能够彰显城市文化特色的元素联系起来，形成视线通廊，凸显城市文化特色。

绿道与城市道路间应无缝衔接，相交处宜采用天桥、地道等方式，形成一个安全、可选择性、完整的绿道游览体系。

环绿道的建设应该促进自然生态与人们活动间的和谐，通过绿道系统的建设，让人们更多拥有与自然间的亲近与提高保护自然的意识与行动。

Culture:greenway should link up with historical sites,cultural facilities,old dock and other elements which can reflect urban cultural feature to create visual corridor and highlight urban cultural feature.

本片区依山傍水，整个陆域用地狭长而地势平坦，其间不乏自然美景，现场中亦存在部分工厂遗留等资产供持续利用。

The site is adjacent to waters and
mountains with many natural sceneries; overall land use is narrow and long with low relief. Some factories and other property left at the site can be for sustainable use.
