2．at the moment 现在，此时此刻（相当于now）
3．look for 寻找
look for强调过程或者动作，find强调结果。

类似的用法还有：look at 看，see 看见；listen to 听，hear听
见
4．wait a minute 等一会儿（相当于wait a moment）
5．on time 按时

三者之间用among。

Step 3 Important sentences
1．Which place do you like best?
表示最喜欢某物或者某人，我们可以用like…best, like…most或者favorite。

I like this city best. 我最喜欢这座城市。

=I like this city most.
=This city is my favorite.
She likes cats best. 她最喜欢猫。

=She likes cats most.
=Cats ar e her favorite.
=Her favorite animals are cats.
两者相比较更喜欢某物或者某人，我们通常用：like…better
I like English better than Chinese. 英语和汉语比我更喜欢英语。

Which do you like bet t er, tea or coffee? 你更喜欢茶还是咖啡？
2．How long may I keep it? 我能保存多长时间？
how long询问某一动作或者状态持续多久，回答通常是一段时间。

How long will you stay in her home? Two days.
3．Excuse me, can I borrow the book? 劳驾，我可以用用你的书吗？
Excuse me, do you have any Ren’ai English Post newspapers?
劳驾，我可以借用你的《仁爱英语报》吗？
这两个句子都是用来向别人借东西。

肯定的回答是：Sure/Certainly/Of course. Here you are/Help yourself.
否定的回答是：Sorry, I don’t have any.
—Excuse me, could I borrow your ruler? 劳驾，我可以用用你的尺子吗？
—Sure, here you are. 当然可以，给你。

—Excuse me, may I borrow your soccer ball? 劳驾，我可以借用你的足球吗？
—Of course, help yourself. 当然可以，你自己拿吧。

—Excuse me, do you have any dictionary? 劳驾，你有词典吗？
—Sorry, I don’t have any. 对不起，我没有。

1．Explain the usage of the present continuous tense.
2．现在进行时的句式
肯定句：主语 + be (am, is, are) + V-ing + 其他.
否定句：主语 + be (am, is, are) + not + V-ing + 其他.
一般疑问句：Be (Is, Are) + 主语 + V-ing + 其他?
特殊疑问句：疑问代词/疑问副词 + be (is, are) + 主语 + V-ing + 其他?
