Unit 4 When is the art show?一、单元整体分析本单元是义务教育灵通版(pep)小学英语教科书五年级下册的第四单元。
主要围绕话题When is Easter?引出A、B、C三个板块的内容。
A、B部分呈现两组情景对话、一些重点词汇和一篇阅读小短文等新知识点,C部分是以讲趣味故事形式巩固或延展知识面。
本单元是在复习以前学过的一些月份和部分序数词的基础上,注重学习具体日期的英语表达方式,学习序数词与基数词的转换规律,重点呈现核心句型When is the sports meet? It’s on April 4 th. When is Grandpa’s birthday? It’s on October 12 th. 贴近学生们喜爱的话题,激发学生们的浓厚情趣,很容易把知识点融入到学生们的实际生活中,学生们更容易接受,并能很快达到融会贯通的程度。
本单元共分六个课时,A、B两部分中的情景对话都是展示重点知识内容的语言环境,Let’s learn 中的重点词汇是为重点句型提供的多变元素,让学生们掌握更多的日期表达方式,丰富学生们的学习内容,增加学生们的词汇量,提高学生们的灵活交际能力。
第五课时的Read and write,Read and match和Let’s check均是巩固重点知识的的经典训练。
情趣故事是学生们最喜欢的表演剧本,把刚刚学会的新知识融入到故事情节当中,通过自己的努力,把故事内容活灵活现的展现在众人面前,让学生们感受着自己的进步、成功与喜悦,这就是学习收获的最高巅峰。
本单元侧重于日期和生日的表达,我将充分利用网络资源、图像、表格、自制PPT课件、词卡、人物头饰等等教学工具,通过多种趣味游戏活动加以训练巩固所学新词汇即句型,为学生们营造更多的对话交流氛围,鼓励学生大胆说话,积极采访,完成记录,汇集成信息报告激励学生们积极参与报告演讲,展现自己在本单元的喜悦收获成果。

3. 教师拍手,学生听拍手次数抢答。
如教师拍四下收,代表四月份,学生听到拍手声,心算次数后,以举手抢答的形式,说出并拼出单词 April。
(二)呈现新课(Presentation)Let’s try1. 出示Let’s try 板块的图片,提问:Where is Zhang Peng? What is he doing? 学生回答后,教师说: Zhang Peng is practicing running. Mr Jones is talking to him. Which month are they talking about? Listen and tick, please.2. 学生听录音,完成听音选月份的练习。
Let’s talk教师说:I like the art show. Zip likes it, too. Let’s watch a video.3.请学生带着问题看Let’s talk 的动画。
回答问题。
4. 教师展示教材图片,让学生看图,播放Let’s talk 的录音,教师提问: When is the school art show? 引导学生回答:It’s on May 5th .5. 教师利用课件出示有关校园艺术节的图片说: The school art show is an important holiday in many schools. It’s on May 5th this year. People will show many beautiful pictures.6. 教师播放Let’s talk 板块的动画视频,学生观看。
7. 教师播放Let’s talk 板块的录音,学生逐句跟读。
跟读的过程中,教师应适时提示学生注意说话者的语气以及句子的升降调。
8. 教师在与学生的交流中板书:When is the art show? It’s on May 1st.请学生跟读、拼读,并进行生生回答。
教师适时板书:When is the reading festival? It’s on May 5th. 学生回答练习。
(三)趣味操练(Practice)1. 学生分角色听录音模仿并朗读对话,三人一组练习后在小组内表演对话并展示。
2. 学生完成第 38 页的连线题,将图片、节日与日期连起来。
3. 教师利用课件出示各种节日的图,说 There are some special days in a year. Please talk about the holidays with your partner. 学生合作创编对话,并请个别组进行表演,鼓励学生使用更多学过的句型,如:I / We can … I / We like to … I / We often… (四)家庭作业(Homework)1. 听读Let’s talk,并诵读重点句型。
2. 听Let’s talk 部分的录音,读给同伴、朋友或家长听。
3. 给爸爸妈妈介绍自己喜欢的节日。
第二课时教学目标:1.能够听、说、读、写单词 first,second,third,fourth,fifth 等序数及其缩写形式.2.能够通过图片掌握相关活动 English test, maths test, singing test, school trip, sports meet, swimming contest。
3.能够使用句型 Which season do you like best? 进行问答。
4.能运用一般现在时特殊疑问句When is …句型,询问相关活动的发生日期,并能够运用It’s on +月份+序数词进行回答。
5.能够用英语表达具体的活动日期。
6.鼓励学生根据实际情况观察活动安排表,并运用目标语句进行对话练习。

教学步骤:(一)热身/复习(Warm-up/Revision)教师利用课件配图小诗 You have one, I have one,学生拍手吟唱: You have one, I have one, two little children see the sun. You have two, I have two, four little children go to school. You have three, I have three, six little children pick many apples. You have four, I have four, eight little children go swimming. You have five, I have five, ten little children go to the library.(二)呈现新课(Presentation)Let’s learn1.教师请学生观察课本中 A Let’s learn 的图片,教师说:There are some other special days in May. What are they? 教师继续提问:When is the art show? 引导学生回答。
教师板书句型:When is the sports meet? It’s on April 5th.和单词 first (1st),second (2nd) ,third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th),学生拼读单词。
2.教师播放录音,学生模仿跟读单词和句子。
然后请男生女生分角色进行问答。
3.教师指导两组学生做传话游戏,4.教师手持鞋油日期和活动的卡片,依次快速出示给学生看,提问When is …?学生抢答:It’s on … 然后教师将该卡片贴在黑板上,卡片共有 5-7 张,排成一周活动安排表。
5.同桌学生根据黑板上的卡片,创编有关一周活动安排表的对话,,创编有关一周活动安排表的对话,主要参考A Let’s talk 板块。
6.Ask and answer.学生四人小组仿照课本中插图或黑板上的卡片,结合班级实际制定一周活动安排表,运用核心句型When is …? It’s …进行对话交流。
(三)趣味操练(Practice)1.利用课件或图片随机呈现 first,second,third,fourth,fifth 这五个单词,5 秒钟后图片快速消失,请学生说出刚才出现的单词。
学生说出单词后,教师重新呈现图片,核对答案。
2.教师出示序数词的单词卡片,采用开小火车的活动方式,由第一位学生举起卡片并大声读出单词,然后将卡片传递到后面一位学生,继续认读单词。
以此类推,最后完成整个小组学生的单词认读活动。
3. 教师请学生们准备好单词卡片,教师说出其中一个单词,请学生快速举起相应的单词卡片。
(四)homework1.背诵四会单词 first,second,third,fourth,fifth。
2.用四会单词和句型造句。

5.能够在单线上完成抄写句子的活动,做到书写规范与正确。

(二)呈现新课(Presentation)1.教师出示一副生日图片,图片上写有四天后的日期,问:When is my birthday? 引导学生回答:It’s on …教师说:Yes, my birthday is in three more days. 学生拼读单词birthday 和 three。
