He meets a group of scientists who are trying to discover the secret of life and the meaning of existence. Gulliver joins them and contributes his own ideas, but they are ridiculed and he is thrown out of the island. He manages to escape by clinging to the floating island's anchor chain.

Gulliver's final journey takes him to the land of the Houyhnhnms, who are a race of rational horses that rule over the island. Gulliver is captured by the Houyhnhnms and indentured to one of them, who uses him as a lowly servant. After several months, Gulliver manages to win over his Houyhnhnm master and is allowed to become a member of their society. He learns their language and culture and becomes a trusted friend of the Houyhnhnms. However, he soon realizes that he has become dehumanized and lost touch with his own humanity. He decides to leave the Houyhnhnm Land and return home to his own country, where he can be reunited with his family and regain his sense of purpose in life.。
