Long ago, there was a very beautiful fairy named Chang'e. She lived in the heavenly palace with the Jade Emperor and was loved by everyone for her beauty and kindness.
However, there was a special medicine in the heavenly palace called the elixir of immortality, which many coveted for its magical effects of granting eternal youth. One day, the Jade Emperor decided to send the elixir to the mortal world so that people could also benefit from it.
The Jade Emperor chose Chang'e to take the elixir to the mortal world. Chang'e was thrilled and prepared the elixir. She hopped onto a moon chariot pulled by a jade rabbit and embarked on her journey.
