Unit 3 Where did you go? 教学设计
第一课时
【教学目标】
1. 知识目标:
(1)能听懂Let’s try并完成Tick and cross.
(2)能理解Let’s talk并能听说认读下列句子:What happened? Are you all right? I’m OK now. Where did you go? It looks like a mule. Did you go to Turpan? Yes, we did.
2. 能力目标:
(1)能够在语境中理解生词fell off, Labour Day, mule, Turpan, could, till的意思,并能正确发音。
(2)能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话,并进行角色表演。
(3)能够在情景中恰当运用有where和what引导的一般过去时的特殊疑问句。
3. 情感目标:
通过对话了解新疆的风土人情,感受祖国的大好河山。
【教学重点】
能听说认读下列句子:
What happened?
Are you all right? I’m OK now.
Where did you go?
It looks like a mule.
Did you go to Turpan? Yes, we did.
【教学难点】
能够在情景中恰当运用有where和what引导的一般过去时的特殊疑问句。
【教学方法】
1. 任务型教学法:学生在完成任务的过程中,提高了综合语言运用能力。
2. 视听法:利用视听手段,提高了学生的听说能力。
3. 游戏法:丰富了课堂形式,调动了学生学习兴趣。
4. 多媒体辅助教学法:设计新颖,化解了教学难点,提高了学生学习积极性。
【教具准备】
多媒体课件,录音机、词卡、图片、挂图。
【教学过程】
Step1 Warm-up
1. 复习Let’s learn.
Eg: rode a horse. I rode a horse last weekend.
2. Free talk.
— Where did you go last Sunday/ Saturday?
— I went to a forest park.
— What did you do there?
— I rode a bike.
Step 2 Presentation
1. 教师结合日历,让学生理解holiday的概念。
教师提问:Look at the calendar. It has red-coloured dates. Why does it have red-coloured dates? It has festivals. People don’t go to work. We usually have holidays, such as New Year’s Day and Children’s Day. As students, we also have winter holiday and summer holiday.
2. 教师展示不同假期的图片提问:Do you like holidays? What do you usually do on your holiday? Do you go on a trip? What do you usually do over your trips?
3. 教师利用图片和视频与学生分享自己的一次旅游经历。
教师介绍:I like holidays, too. Sometimes I stay at home and do the things I like to do, sometimes I go on a trip. In the winter holiday, I went to …I did many interesting things there. Look, I…
4. 教师提问:Where did you go over your holiday? What did you do?
5. Let’s try
教师介绍Let’s try的对话背景:Listen, there is a photo call. Who is phoning? Yes, John had a phone call with Amy. Where is John now? Where is Amy now?
教师播放录音,学生完成第一、二题。
教师追问学生Why was John at home?引导学生猜测。
教师再次播放,学生根据录音完成第三题。
6. Let’s talk
教师呈现Let’s talk 部分的插图,提问:On Labor Day holiday, John went on a trip, too.
Where did he go? These are two of pictures he took over his holiday. Can you guess where he went? 要求学生观察图片并猜出John五一假期去的地方——新疆。
教师让学生在四人小组里交流自己对新疆的印象:Do you know something about Xinjiang? Share in your groups. Who can share with us in class? 教师可结合学生介绍,利用图片或视频介绍新疆的风土人情,并教读mule, Turpan。
教师在教mule 时,可提供mule和horse的图片进行对比记忆。
师:There are so many interesting things we can do in Xinjiang. What did John do when he was in Xinjiang? Can you guess? 让学生猜测John在新疆的事情。
然后教师放录音或动画,让学生回答,验证之前猜测的答案。
教师教读could和till。
Step 3 Practise
1. 教读并理解重点单词和句型
fell off, mule, could, till, Labour Day, Turpan
What happened?
Are you all right? I’m OK now.
Where did you go?
It looks like a mule.
Did you go to Turpan? Yes, we did.
I fell off my bike last Saturday and hurt my foot.
2. 学生听录音,老师教读对话。
3. 学生小组阅读对话并回答问题。
(1) What happened to John?
(2) Where did John go over his holiday?
(3) What did he do?
4. 学生讲解对话,教师补充答疑。
Step 4 Communication
1. Role play.
学生灵活运用本课时句型和所学词组扮演John和Amy打电话。
Step 5 Consolidation and Extension
一、填一填,译一译,读一读。
