The Stone, My Direction
When it comes to stones, what do they mean to you? The foundation of houses, the difficulties in your lives...... For my perspective, the stone is my direction，leading me to move forward step by step.
For a long vacation, I am accustomed to traveling, especially, climbing mountains from which I can refresh myself physically and mentally. In the course of climbing a mountain, feeling the stones When I touch every stone, it means I am much closer to the goal.
One the another hand, the stones are the obstacles, in the way of my growth, which remind me to change or impove myself all the time. When I was a freshman, I didn't know what to do in the future. However, I didn't want to squander my time and I tried my best to catch every opportunity to better myself. In order to win some prizes, I was occuppied with all varieties of competitions. Unfortunately, I aways ended up with failures. The first time I failed, I just comforted myself: The failure is the mother of success. The second, I told myself : never, never, never give up just like Churchill. The third, the fourth (I)
managed to relieve myself all the time. It's until a teacher criticized me not to prepare well before the match. All of a
sudden, I couldn't help but burst into tears. At that time, I realized that I couldn't confront it any more.
Several days later, faced with the suffering, I reflected myself deeply. I came to realize that I was eager to go in after numerous contests but attach less importance to the quality. Provided that I participated in several ones which I really enjoyed
, I would be more ready for it. Thanks to the stones_my direction in my life, I can take my behaviours into consideration to become a better guy gradually.
In a word, a stone is never just a stone and, in contrary, it is a diamond that we are supposed to cherish for a long time.
Our life has a limit, but knowledge without limit.
Knowledge advances by steps, and not by leaps. Knowledge is power.。
