摘要：PURPOSE:To cope with degradation of operability by detecting supply air-fuel ratio and output air-fuel ratio of engine respectively then judging transition of the output air-fuel ratio when the supply air-fuel ratio varies to over-rich side thereby judging sediment in an intake tube. CONSTITUTION:In an engine 1, intake quantity, rotation and O2 density in exhaust gas are detected respectively through sensors 2, 4, 5 and detection signals are fed to a controller 3 which feedback controls quantity of fuel to be injected through an injector 6. The controller 3 further receives output signals from a throttle sensor 7 and an idle switch 8. When respective switches 7, 8 detect that the supply air-fuel ratio of the engine 1 has changed to over-rich side, production of sediment in an intake tube is detected through transition of output air-fuel ratio detected through respective sensors 2, 4, 5 and an alarm lamp 9 is lighted.
