As a first-year middle school student, my daily schedule is quite packed with various academic and extracurricular activities. In this essay, I will share my English writing schedule and the challenges I face in managing my time effectively.
First and foremost, my day typically starts at 6:30 am when I wake up and prepare for the day ahead. After getting ready, I have a quick breakfast before heading to school. The school day begins at 8:00 am and consists of various subjects including Chinese, mathematics, English, science, and history. Each class lasts for 45 minutes with short breaks in between. By the time school ends at 4:00 pm, I am usually mentally exhausted and in need of a short rest.
Following school, I have a variety of extracurricular activities that I participate in, such as music lessons, sports practice, and tutoring sessions. These activities take up a significant portion of my time and often leave me
with very little time for leisure activities or relaxation. For example, my English writing class takes place every Monday and Wednesday from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm, which means I have to stay back at school for an extra hour and a half on those days.
One of the biggest challenges I face in managing my
time effectively is finding a balance between my academic responsibilities and my extracurricular activities. With
the heavy workload from school and the additional commitments from my extracurricular activities, I often
find myself feeling overwhelmed and stressed. This can have a negative impact on my ability to focus and perform well
in both areas.
Furthermore, the pressure to excel in my English
writing class adds to the stress and anxiety I experience. The class requires me to write essays, participate in discussions, and complete various assignments, all of which demand a significant amount of time and effort. As a result, I often find myself sacrificing sleep and leisure time in order to keep up with the demands of the class.
In addition to the time constraints, I also struggle
with maintaining a high level of motivation and enthusiasm for my English writing class. After a long day of school
and extracurricular activities, it can be challenging to
find the energy and inspiration to write creatively and effectively. This often leads to feelings of frustration
and self-doubt, which can further hinder my progress in the class.

a first-year middle school student is a constant juggling act.
