本单元的语言功能项目是正确使It is sunny and warm./…本课内容贴近学生的生活和学习实际,为学生操练对话创设了一个真实的语言情景,有利于学生在比较接近实际的情景中听听说说,从而培养他们运用英语进行交际的能力。
【知识目标】
1.能够听、说、认、读单词:Ugly, duck , river, baby , back , swan,into。
2.熟练运用It is sunny and warm …的句式。
【能力目标】
通过学习故事的第一部分,帮助学生了解故事人物和背景,激发阅读兴趣。
【情感目标】
利用多种游戏或活动形式培养学生对英语学习的浓厚兴趣。
【教学重点】
词汇:ugly ,duck duckling ,baby, river
【教学难点】
句型:
It is sunny and warm.
Mother Duck has three eggs.
Mother Duck sits on the eggs.

Step 1. Pre—task preparations
Greetings.
T: Good morning, Boy and girls. How are you today?
S: Good morning, Ms Sun. We are fine. /...
T: How’s the weather today?
S: It’s sunny. /...
T: Today is sunny and warm. /... It is a fine day. /..

1. Guessing game.
(1)T: They’re f arm animals. They can walk and swim. They like eating corn and fish. They have wings but they can’t fly high. What animals are they?
S: They’re ducks.
(2)T: T hey’re small and lovely. They can walk and swim too. They’re the babies of ducks. What animals are they?
S: They’re ducklings.
