一、教学目标
1.知识与技能:1) 能掌握以下单词: rain, windy, cloudy, sunny, snow, weather
2)能掌握以下句型:How's the weather in Beijing? It's sunny. 能用所学的知识描述天气情况。
Step Five:Challendge.
Challenge 1,Do you know the signs in the weather report? Look ,which group is the fastest to recognize all signs.
2.过程与方法:通过小组问答和英语听力训练,提升听力和口语表达能力。
3.情感、态度价值观:教育学生在不同的天气里,能够调整自己的情绪;了解世界各地的天气情况,增加世界观念。知道大自然的力量是神奇而伟大的。
二、教学重难点
教学重点:词汇:rainy ,windy, snowy, Boston ,Moscow等描述天气的词汇。句型是How’s the weather?=What’s the weather like ?It’s rainy.
2.Pairwork 2, The weather in different places around us and teach new words.
I have some pictures of different places. Do you know these places? Beijing, Shanghai , Moscow, Toronto , Boston. Write the new two cities on the Bb. Ask and answer.
2.Practice the drills.
Write the sentences on the Bb. Then use the sentences and the words to practice target language. Boys ask and girls answer.
Step Four: Pairwork.
教学难点:rainy, snowy, raining 等单词的形式变形。
三、学情分析
初一学生对新生事物有较强的好奇心,对新学的知识更喜欢有挑战性,竞技性的游戏。所以,本着以人为本,为学生终身发展服务的理念,我精心设计本节课,采用多种方法调动学生的学习欲望和学习热情。我运用情景交际法,让学生通过亲身感受去学习,运用小组合作法,让学生在合作中学会应用。使学生在参与的过程中,收获了成功感,幸福感,对新知识渴求的满足感。
3.Practice the new words.
When teaching, the teacher writes these words on the Bb .At last ,read these words together.One group read, one group spell, another group translate .Give them 1 minute to recite these words. Then fast reaction .read and spell.
2.Present new words.
First, Let’s look at some pictures What’s the weather like in this picture? Yes ,it’s sunny. Read after me ,Spell it three times together
Step Two :New words.
1.Lead-in.
Right now we have listened to an English song named The rhythm of the rain. It’s a very famous popular and old song. Do you like it ? In this song, the singer expresses his love of rain .He thinks the rhythm of the rain very beautiful .Do you think so? Well, today we’ll study something about weather including the rain. First of all, let’s look at the aim of this lesson.
1.Pairwork Look at the pictures and ask and answer like this :How’s the weather? It’s raining. First ,give them 1 min to practice .Then ,who want to present their conversation, they can stand themselves.
Step Three, New drills.
1.Present the new drills “How’s the weather? It’s﹍”.
These kinds of weather are very common in our daily life .Then how to ask and answer about the weather. Look at the big screen .Read after me .Three times and a group.

2.An English proverb.given by students.If you want a thing well done, do it yourself.想把事做好,自己动手做。
