大学英语课程考试大纲
大学英语课程考试大纲根据教育部《大学英语课程教学要求》的规定,大学英语的教学是“以英语语言知识与应用技能,学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容,培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力”。
“考试应以评价学生的英语综合应用能力为主”。
根据上述的规定,本大纲规定以下原则及考试内容。
一、考试目的1.检查大纲执行情况,特别是大纲所要达到的综合语言技能和交际能力,籍以促进大纲的进一步贯彻落实,从而提高教学质量。
2.选拔优秀学生继续深造学习。
二、命题要求为了较好地考核学生运用技能的综合能力,既照顾到科学性,客观性,又考虑到英语测试的特点,本考试的形式采取客观试题与主观试题相结合,单项技能测试与综合技能测试相结合的方法。
从总体来说,客观试题占总分的百分之六十,主观试题占总分的百分之四十。
三、考试内容本考试包括五个部分:听力理解、阅读理解、词汇与结构、翻译或完型填空、写作。
1、听力理解(Part I: Listening Comprehension)1)测试要求a.能力听懂交际场合中各种英语会话。
b.能听懂VOA特别节目中有关政治、历史、文化教育新闻时事等报到。
c.能基本听懂外国专家用英语讲授的课程。
2)题型听力理解部分包括二或三个项目:Section A,Section B/C。
考试时间为:20分钟。
Section A: Short ConversationSection B: Passages/DialoguesSection C: Compound Dictation2、阅读理解(Part 2: Reading Comprehension)1) 测试要求a、能读懂一般题材的英文文章。
b、能读懂国内外英文报刊,掌握中心意思,理解主要事实和有关细节。
c、能读懂工作,生活中常见的应用文件和材料。
2)题型阅读理解部分由四篇短文组成,其后共20道题,要求学生根据短文内容,隐含意义,在40分钟内完成。
3、词汇与结构(Part 3: V ocabulary and Structure)1)测试要求a、掌握4500个词汇和700个词组,其中2000个词汇为积极词汇,要求会运用。

2.选词填空的文章选自《新视野大学英语读写教程》第三册课文1-8课SECTION
A的段落,15个词中选10个填入空格(每小题1.5分,共15分)
3.仔细阅读2篇文章来自《新视野读写教程》第3册8个单元中的SECTION
B课文,考试题目原创。
(每小题2分,共20分)
4.CLOZE来自《新视野读写教程第三册》8个单元中的课文或者课后练习(每
小题1.5分,共15分)。
5.翻译都来自新视野读写教程第三册8个单元中的课后翻译练习以及其他
vocabulary、structure等练习。

6.作文题目来自课外。

中南大学大学英语水平等级考试大纲
中南大学大学英语水平等级考试大纲背景:自1986年以来,中南大学非英语专业的本科生要参加国家大学英语四级考试,成绩合格以后才能获得学位证书。
因此学校师生很重视大学英语的教学工作及四级通过率。
由于学生的学位证书与国家四级英语成绩挂钩,应试教育也曾占据课堂,学生实际应用英语的能力较弱,毕业后难以应付英语要求较高的外企单位的工作。
随着形势的发展,我校根据自己的实际情况,决定从2008级学生开始,学位证书与国家四级成绩脱钩,实行中南大学校内大学英语水平等级考试制度。
我们的思路是高起点,重能力。
校内英语水平等级考试参照清华大学、北京大学等重点高校的《大学英语》考试标准,中南大学校内大学英语水平等级考试的目标要高于国家四级考试水平,考试突出测试学生的听说能力,书面表达能力及语言翻译能力等。
如今,我校参与国际合作的机会越来越多,学生出国学习的机会也越来越多。
如我们有中澳班:本科前两年在国内学习,后两年在澳大利亚学习。
部分优秀本科生和研究生也可直接送往国外名牌大学培养。
为了满足学生留学的实际需求,适应社会对人才的选拔,实现人才个性化、专业化的培养目标,中南大学校内大学英语水平等级考试的改革势在必行!2004年初教育部高教司组织制定并在全国部分高校开始试点《大学英语课程教学要求(试行)》(以下简称《教学要求》)。
中南大学是首批试点的180所高校之一。
我们实施《教学要求》的规定:“培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说与写作能力,使他们在今后工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流”。
自《教学要求》在我校开始试点以来,广大教师十分关心并积极参加这次改革,在教学模式、教学手段和教材使用等各方面做了许多有益的尝试。
参加试点的学生也普遍反映新的教学理念和方法,大大提高了学生学习英语的兴趣,实现了个性化学习,提高了学习的效率。
但由于追求四级通过率,学生的语言实际应用能力提高缓慢。
2007年教育部办公厅印发《大学英语课程教学要求》,指出:“大学英语的教学目标是培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使他们在今后学习、工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行交际,同时增强其自主学习能力,提高综合文化素养,以适应我国社会发展和国际交流的需要。

福建省高校专升本统一招生考试大学英语水平测试大纲(非英语专业)一、总则国家教育部高教司在“关于印发《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》(试行)的通知”[(2000)57号文件]中指出,高职高专教育以培养学生实际运用语言能力为目标,突出教学内容的实用性和针对性;针对目前高职高专学生入学水平参差不齐的情况,实行统一要求、分级指导的原则。
《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》(以下简称《基本要求》)对英语教学提出了应达到的合格要求,把教学和测试分为A、B两级。

为此,这项考试主要考核学生运用语言的能力,同时也考核学生对语法结构和词语用法的掌握程度。
本考试是一种标准化考试。
考试范围主要是《基本要求》中所规定的A级要求。
为保证试卷的信度和效度,试卷采用主观题与客观题相结合的形式,能较全面地考核学生有关语言的基础知识和运用语言的能力。
考试每年组织一次,由省教育厅组织实施。
二、考试内容本考试包括五个部分:听力理解(暂不考)、阅读理解、词语用法与语法结构、完形填空或英译汉、短文写作。

二、考试对象本大纲适用于修完《基本要求》所规定的全部内容的各专业的学生。
三、考试性质本考试的目的是考核考生的语言知识、语言应用技能以及综合应用、跨文化交际的基本能力,其性质是教学—水平考试。
四、考试大纲考试方式:笔试。
笔试时间为120分钟。
笔试内容:语言知识和听、读、写等技能客观性试题有信度较高、覆盖面广的优点,而主观性试题有利于提高测试的效度,能更好地检测考生运用语言的能力,为此本考试采用主客观混合题型,以保证良好的信度和效度。
本考试按百分制计分,满分为100分。
其中听力20分,阅读30分、词汇与语法25分、完型填空10分,写作15分。

《大学英语》考试大纲《大学英语》(A)考试大纲[2013年修订版]试点高校网络教育部分公共基础课全国统一考试,旨在遵循网络教育应用型人才的培养目标,针对从业人员继续教育的特点,重在检验学生掌握英语基础知识的水平及应用能力,全面提高现代远程高等学历教育的教学质量。
“大学英语”课程是现代远程教育试点高校网络教育实行全国统一考试的部分公共基础课之一。
该课程的考试是一种基础水平检测性考试,考试合格者应达到与成人高等教育本科相应的大学英语课程要求的水平。

【翻译】考生应能在规定的时间内将难度适中的中文句子翻译成英语。

重庆大学《大学英语》(1-4)考试大纲课程类别:基础必修课总学时数:256学时学分:14学分一、考试要求大学英语课程是我校非英语专业大学生的一门重要的必修基础课程,其教学目标是培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使他们在今后工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流。
因此,大学英语考试的目的在于准确地衡量我校大学生的英语综合应用能力和自主学习能力。
大学英语每一学期的测试分为四个级别:1、2、3、4级,由专门小组负责出题、课程教授审题,以密封卷形式集体流水阅卷、集体登分,任课老师负责把学生的成绩登录上网,学生在网上查看自己的成绩。

The greatest controversy has centered on whether the texts should be authentic or not. That is because people have worried about more traditional language-teaching materials which tended to look artificial and to use over-simplified language which any native speaker would find comical and untypical.However, if you give low-level students a copy of The Times or The Guardian (which are certainly authentic for native-speakers), they will probably not be able to understand them at all.
