利用积极心理学的福流理论构建英语阳光词汇课堂作者:林玉琴来源:《中学课程辅导·教师通讯》2018年第20期【内容摘要】积极心理学是指利用心理学完善有效的实验方法与测量手段,来研究人类的力量和美德,是帮助人类发挥潜能和获得幸福的科学。
积极心理学认为幸福的人学习效率更高。
笔者在英语词汇课堂教学中,结合积极心理学的福流理论,提出了构建英语阳光词汇课堂的一些有效做法。
【关键词】心理学福流英语词汇课堂一、福流产生的要素心理学家维克多·佛兰克尔说:“投入地去做一件事,幸福就降临了,福流就产生了”。
当人们在活动中产生福流时,他们会享受并高效完成所做事情。
积极心理学认为,福流产生要符合以下要素:①挑战的任务与能力相匹配;②有明确具体的目标;③有效及时的反馈;④清晰的规则;⑤可控性。
二、根据福流产生要素设计的英语词汇学习活动笔者在词汇教学中,根据福流产生要素,设计了多样化的课堂词汇学习活动,提高了学生的学习效率与兴趣。
(一)词汇大串联活动“词汇大串联”是指学生围绕着老师指定的中心词进行想象,写出一连串前后有联系的词汇,最终构成一个有情节的故事。
词汇大串联分为情境性、思维导图式词汇大串联1.情境性词汇大串联根据学生的学习情景给出中心词进行词汇大串联。
如在M1U2单元测试后,很多学生因为测试不及格,心情低落。
笔者就给出了中心词test让学生对这次测试进行反思。
以下是一个学生的词汇拓展:test- fail-careless-sad- next- work hard- make progress-realize- dream- designer- design- wedding dress- supermodel- fashion- wear-now-do my homework -though- difficult- never give up 大意是:這次考试因为粗心而导致了不及格,很伤心。
