【语法提要】
1.cheer up
cheer up意为“使振奋;使快乐起来",是“动词+副词"结构的短语。
假设是名词作宾语,名词放在短语之间和后面均可;假设是人称代词作宾语,应放在cheer与up中间。
例句:She’d like to cheer up the sick children。
=She’d like to cheer the sick children up。
她想让生病的孩子们快乐起来。
(1〕cheer作名词,意为“欢呼;喝彩〞;cheer的形容词形式为cheerful,意为“快乐的;愉快的〞。
〔2〕与up相关的短语:

give out意为“分发;发放",相当于hand out,它们都是“动词+副词"结构的短语。
