Step I
1. Revision
2. Warming up
(1) Talk about the sports that they like most.
(2) Ask them who is the best player in the class. In the more able class let them talk about him.
Step II
1. Tell the students to look at the headline of the newspaper article and the picture to get the general idea. Ask
them who the person in the picture is, what he does and which football team he plays for.
2. Go through the article with the students to find out the new words.
3. help the students know the meaning of the news words and something else.

Step III
1. Read the note sheep on page 12 first to make sure of their task before they read the article again.

2. Finish part A3 along with the help of the listening article and the information on page 12.
Step V
