1)Where is/are + 主语+ from ?这一特殊疑问句用来询问某人来自哪里,回答时,用主语+is/are +from+地点。
eg: Where are you from? I’m from Chaohu. Where is he from? He’s from Hefei.
拓展:be from = come from be是系动词,come 是实义动词
eg: Where does he come from? He comes from Hefei.
2)live 不及物动词,意思是“居住”不能直接加地点,需要有介词.

3)pen pal =pen friend 笔友
4)China 中国Chinese 中国人Japan 日本Japanese 日本人
