含有动名词的习惯用法
动名词是英语动词的一种非谓语形式。

它在句子中的用法一般在教材和语法书中都有较为详细的讲解。

但在实际应用中，动名词还有不少特殊句型和用法，现点击如下：
一．单个词语或短语后接动名词
1．On+动名词=as soon as
On arriving at the village, he found it changed greatly.
2.worth +动名词
Whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well.
3.without so much as +动名词=even
She went away without so much as saying good-bye.
4.on the point of +动名词=be going to do
The firemen arrived just as the house was on the point of giving away.
5.can’t help +动名词=be unable to refrain from doing
He couldn’t help laughing when he heard the funny story.
6come near+动名词=almost do
John came near falling off his bike.
7feel like+动名词=want to do
