1青春 YouthYouth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.青春不是年华,而是心境;青春不是桃面、丹唇、柔膝,而是深沉的意志,恢宏的,炙热的恋情;青春是生命的深泉在涌流。

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.青春气贯长虹,勇锐盖过怯弱,进取压倒苟安。

如此锐气,二十后生而有之,六旬男子则更多见。

年岁有加,并非垂老,理想丢弃,方堕暮年。

Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.岁月悠悠,衰微只及肌肤;热忱抛却,颓废必致灵魂。

Schumann believes that for the whole western countries, the key to formulating China's policies is to look at China from the perspective of the Chinese people, and to see China in its own historical background rather than in the West. If we can do this, we will get a very different image of China from the past, and such a China also needs a set of different policies from the West. If the United States does not change its understanding of China, it will fall into a cycle of strugghis article, Schumann pointed out that the West's understanding of China's development based on its own rather than China's historical experience is "misunderstanding" China. Because of this, Westerners' discussion and thinking about China are wrong, and the relevant policies formulated are not in line with the historical tide.

2023年小学生英语演讲稿(15篇)小学生英语演讲稿1everyone is attracted by beauty and beauty is powerful. but what is true beauty? perhaps you can get the answer from the following story.this morning i went to the market to buy some vegetables with my parents. on the way we all highly praised a young man in western-style clothes and leather shoes who was riding by. but he rode so fast that he knocked an old lady down carelessly.instead of stopping, he pretended not to see this and rode away quickly. we were all very angry with the young man. to our happiness, a girl in plain dress ran forward at once, helped the lady up and took her home. we all praised the girl.from this we know we cannot judge a person by his appearance.a person who is dressed beautifully may not have a beautiful soul. only a person who has a beautiful soul is really beautiful.a man who lived in a block of apartments thought it was raining and put his head out the window to check. as he did so a glaeye fell into his hand.he looked up to see where it came from in time to see a young woman looking down."is this yours?" he asked.小学生英语演讲稿2Hi, everybody, my name is Linzhaochen. This time, I'd like to talk something about English. I admit that new technology is developing fast. Many advanced electronic products are gradually take the place of traditional tools. Just like in university, teachers like to use multimedia in class for it is quite convenient and efficient. However, for our student, it is not realistic to study completely by electronic products. There are many things need to recorded on books. Books are something meaningful and practical. I should say, in our country, printed books wouldn't be abandoned within 20 years at least for two reasons.Firstly, books are classical container of knowledge. They accompany human to advance. A student without books could be someway ridiculous.Secondly, our country haven't developed so strong to make every student study by computer or other forms of electronic tools. And even after 20 years, the possibility is also very small.I also think it is unnecessary because books are cheap but useful and still meaningful.

Answering Questions in Class Makes My Stomach ChurnEvery morning when I wake up, I feel a little queasy thinking about going to school. Don't get me wrong, I actually really like school! I have a lot of friends there, my teachers are nice, and I enjoy learning new things. The problem is that I get crazy nervous about having to answer questions in front of the whole class. Just the thought of it makes my stomach churn and my palms get all sweaty.I'm not sure exactly why I get so anxious when the teacher calls on me. Maybe it's because I'm worried I'll get the answer wrong and then everyone will laugh at me. Or maybe I'm afraid my voice will shake and I'll seem like a baby in front of all my friends. Whatever the reason, as soon as I hear "Okay, who can tell me..." my heart starts pounding like I just ran a mile.Sometimes if I know the teacher is going to ask a question soon, I try to make myself really small and invisible. I'll slouch down in my seat and avoid making eye contact, praying they don't notice me. If I'm really lucky, someone else's hand will shoot up before mine and I'll be off the hook. But that's not a very good long-term solution, since I know I'm supposed to beparticipating and teachers tend to notice when you never volunteer.Other times, I'll try to prepare myself mentally before the teacher finishes asking the question. I'll take some slow, deep breaths and remind myself that it's not the end of the world if I make a mistake. After all, nobody is perfect and we're all still learning. My friends mess up sometimes too. But no matter how much I try to psych myself up, the nervous feelings always come flooding back when I actually start talking. The worst is when I know the answer, but I get so flustered that the words just get jumbled up and come out all wrong. Then the teacher has to ask me to repeat myself, which makes me even more anxious, and by the time I finally get it out, I've probably confused everybody. I'll slump back in my chair feeling embarrassed and dumb, even though I knew it just a minute ago. Why does this keep happening to me?Sometimes when I'm called on, my mind just goes completely blank. I'll hear the question, but it's like there's a scrambled TV screen where the answer is supposed to be. No matter how hard I try to think, I can't pull it out of my brain. So I just have to sit there turning red and stuttering "Ummm..." untilthe teacher lets me off the hook and moves on to someone else. So uncomfortable!Weirdly though, the anticipation is often worse than the actual answering part. Once I start speaking, I'm sometimes able to power through it and make it to the end without too much agony. And you know what? Nobody ever laughs at me or makes fun of me, even if I did mess it up. My friends are really nice and they know this stuff is hard for all of us sometimes. The teachers are also really patient and encouraging. Maybe I'm the only one putting so much pressure on myself.I wonder if any of my friends have the same issue with getting so anxious about answering in class. I should ask them about it sometime. It would be a relief to know I'm not the only one dealing with this. Heck, maybe we could even start a club for kids who hate raising their hands! We could come up with strategies to make it less scary. Like maybe we could have a code word to signal each other if we need help answering something. Or we could make a rule that nobody is allowed to laugh at anyone else when they're talking. Just having a few allies might make it so much easier. For now though, I'm going to keep trying my best not to avoid the teachers' questions. As much as I dread it in themoment, answering out loud is probably really good practice for becoming more confident. And building confidence is way more important than worrying about embarrassing myself once in a while. I mean, I can't hide from talking in front of people forever, right? I'm going to be an adult with a job one day, and adults have to speak up in meetings and stuff without getting flustered all the time.So next time I get called on, instead of shrinking down and trying to disappear, I'll sit up tall, take a deep breath, and just go for it. Who cares if I mix up my words a little or have to pause to think about it? At least I'll be trying my best, and that's what counts. If I get stuck, I'll ask the teacher for help rephrasing the question instead of panicking. And if I make a mistake, I'll just laugh it off and keep going instead of beating myself up over it. It might take some practice, but little by little, I can get better at not psyching myself out so much over this. Who knows, I may eventually become the kid who can't stop blurting out answers!。

大学课堂英语脱稿演讲稿

大学课堂英语脱稿演讲稿

Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed professors, and fellow students,Good morning/afternoon! It is a great pleasure to stand before you today to share my thoughts on a topic that is not only crucial for our academic pursuits but also for our future in an increasingly globalized world. The topic of my speech is "The Power of English in the Globalized World."As we navigate through the 21st century, the world has become more interconnected than ever before. Technology, trade, and travel have broken down barriers, bringing people from different cultures and backgrounds closer together. In this interconnected landscape, English has emerged as the lingua franca, the common language that bridges the gap between diverse communities.Firstly, let us acknowledge the historical significance of English. Originating from the Germanic tribes of England, English has evolvedover centuries, absorbing influences from various cultures and languages. Today, it is the third most spoken language in the world, with over 1.5 billion people using it as a first or second language. This widespread usage is not by chance; it is a testament to the power of English as a global language. One of the primary reasons for English's prominence is its role in the global business landscape. In an era where international trade and commerce are the backbone of the global economy, English has become the lingua franca of business. Whether it is in negotiations, presentations, or correspondence, English is the go-to language for professionals worldwide. This proficiency in English not only opens doors to international job opportunities but also enhances one's employability in the global market.Furthermore, English is the language of science and technology. The majority of scientific research and technological advancements are documented in English. Journals, conferences, and academic papers are predominantly published in English, making it essential for researchers and scholars to have a strong command of the language. By masteringEnglish, students and professionals can access a vast pool of knowledge and contribute to the global scientific community. In the realm of education, English has become a necessity. Universities across the globe offer courses in English, making it easier for students from different linguistic backgrounds to pursue higher education. English proficiency tests, such as TOEFL and IELTS, have become a standard requirement for international students seeking admission to universities abroad. By mastering English, students can expand their academic horizons and access a wider range of educational opportunities. Moreover, English is the language of global media and entertainment. From international news channels to Hollywood movies, English is the lingua franca of the media industry. By being proficient in English, individuals can stay updated with global events and trends, fostering a sense of global citizenship and cultural awareness. However, it is important to recognize that the dominance of English in the global arena has raised concerns about cultural homogenization and language extinction. Many argue that the spread of English threatens the preservation of indigenous languages and cultural diversity. While it is true that the dominance of English can have adverse effects onlinguistic diversity, it is also essential to promote multilingualism and encourage the use of other languages alongside English. In conclusion, the power of English in the globalized world cannot be overstated. Its widespread usage in business, science, education, and media has made it an indispensable tool for individuals seeking success and growth in the global landscape. As students of a university, it is our responsibility to embrace the power of English and utilize it to our advantage. By doing so, we can not only enhance our own prospects but also contribute to the global community. In order to harness the power of English, we must focus on the following:1. Developing strong language skills: This includes improving our reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities in English. Regularpractice and exposure to the language will help us become more proficient.2. Embracing cultural diversity: It is crucial to appreciate and respect the diverse cultures and languages that coexist in the global community. By doing so, we can promote mutual understanding and collaboration.3. Encouraging multilingualism: While English is a vital tool, we should also support the use of other languages. This will help preserve linguistic diversity and promote cultural richness.4. Utilizing English as a means to an end: We should not let the pursuit of English proficiency overshadow our own cultural identities. Instead, we should use English as a means to achieve our goals and contribute to the global community. In conclusion, the power of English in the globalized world is undeniable. By embracing its significance and utilizing it to our advantage, we can navigate the complexities of our interconnected world and contribute to its growth and prosperity. Thank you for your attention, and let us all strive to harness the power of English for a brighter future.[End of speech]。

英语课堂话题演讲稿范文

英语课堂话题演讲稿范文

Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon. Today, I stand before you to discuss a topicthat is both fundamental and transformative: the power of language in the English classroom. Language is not just a means of communication; it is a tool that shapes our thoughts, emotions, and experiences. In the English classroom, this power is magnified as we strive to learn, understand, and appreciate the intricacies of the English language. Let us delve into the various aspects of language's power and its impact on our learning journey.Firstly, language in the English classroom serves as a bridge that connects students from diverse backgrounds. We come from different countries, cultures, and linguistic traditions, but through English, we find a common ground to express our thoughts and share our experiences. This linguistic unity fosters a sense of community and belonging, making the classroom a welcoming space for all learners. One of the most significant powers of language in the English classroom is its ability to enhance cognitive development. As we learn new vocabulary, grammar rules, and sentence structures, our brains are stimulated to expand and adapt. This cognitive growth not only improves our language skills but also enhances our problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and creativity. Language, in essence, is a catalyst for intellectual growth, and the English classroom provides the fertile ground for this blossoming.Furthermore, language is a powerful means of self-expression. In the English classroom, students are encouraged to share their opinions, perspectives, and emotions. This freedom of expression fosters confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of identity. As we learn to articulate our thoughts clearly and effectively, we become more articulate individuals, capable of engaging in meaningful conversations and contributing to societal discourse. Moreover, language in the English classroom is a window into the world. Hello, I’m ,,,. My topic is “The End of the World”.
According to the Mayan people, we are supposed to have few days left now. It’s said that one in seven thinks the prediction will come into real. But I guess most people just see it as something funny but absurd which may make our boring live a bit more interesting.
However, here come some events which are more reasonable to lead to the end of the world.
One is the solar flare, which means an activity of the sun. And the scientists predicted that by the end of 2012, it will reach an active peak of solar flare. No one can survive if it erupt and influence the earth badly.
Another possibility is the earthquake and the seaquake. Because of some changes in the university around the earth, perhaps the natural disasters are going to be more and more frequent. It may also lead to the end.
There are many other possibilities according to scientists. So what if the end of world really comes? You know, everything has an end.
Many people decide to do something valuable or something they did not dare to do. For example, they will go back home and enjoy a good time with their families, or express their love to someone who is important for them and something like that, or even bad things such as crime. But if we find the end of the world did not come the next day, well, everything in our life will change back into exactly the normal days.
What I want to say is, Why not make changes on a normal day? You see, we can and we ought to do many meaningful things everyday, not the last day. If you find something is important or valuable, just go for it. If you find something you want to say, just speak it out. If you find something right, just do it.
Never hesitate, never doubt, and follow your heart.
So, stop talking about what if the end of the world comes, because it’s coming in no time.
OK, that’s all thank you.。
