There is 后接单数名词，There are 后接复数名词。

一般现在时态表示的是经常反复发生的动作或存在的状态。

常出现的词有：now, always, often, usually等。

一般过去时表示过去某一时候或某一段时间发生了的事情或存在的状态。

常与过去时间词连用，如：last weekend, last night, last Monday, yesterday，the day before yesterday等。
