表示所有关系的代词叫物主代词, 也可叫作代词所有格。可分为两种: 名词性物主代词和形容词性物主代词。 请看下面表格:

名词性物主代词起名词的作用。为 了避免重复使用名词,我们经常用名词 性物主代词来代替“形容词性物主代词+ 名词”的形式。如: My pen is missing. May I borrow yours (= your pen)?

英语中的名词所有格表示一种所属关系,
’s所有格多用于有生命的名词。
★ 构成:
① 在单数名词的末尾加’s构成名词的所有
格,表示“……的”。

2. 形容词性物主代词与名词性物主代词的区别: 前者有名词的含义,后面需跟名词;后者可单独使 用,相当于对应的形容词性物主代词加名词。
3. 名词性物主代词作主语时,如果含义是单数,后面 的be动词用is;如果含义是复数,那么be动词用are。
