小学英语情感课程
Lesson Plan: Primary School English - Emotional Intelligence
Objective:
To teach primary school students to recognize, express, and manage their emotions in English.
Materials:
- Flashcards with emotion words (happy, sad, angry, scared, etc.)
- Picture books that depict various emotions
- Role-play props (e.g., hats, scarves, toy animals)
- A whiteboard and markers
- Audio recording of a story with emotional themes
Procedure:
1. Introduction (5 minutes)
- Greet the class and introduce the topic of the day: "Today, we're going to learn about feelings and how to talk about them in English."
2. Emotion Vocabulary (10 minutes)
- Show flashcards with emotion words and ask students to repeat after you.
- Use simple sentences to define each emotion, for example: "When you get a new toy, you feel happy."
3. Emotion Charades (10 minutes)
- Split the class into pairs or small groups.
- Each student takes turns acting out an emotion without speaking.
- The other students guess the emotion in English.
4. Story Time (15 minutes)
- Read or play an audio recording of a story that involves characters experiencing various emotions.
- After the story, discuss the emotions the characters
felt and how they reacted.
5. Role-Play Activity (15 minutes)
- Set up different scenarios that might elicit emotions (e.g., losing a game, getting a surprise gift).
- Have students role-play these scenarios using the emotion words they've learned.
- Encourage them to express the emotions in sentences, such as "I feel sad because I lost the game."
6. Feelings Journal (10 minutes)
- Provide each student with a small notebook or paper.
- Instruct them to draw a picture or write a sentence about how they felt during one part of the lesson.
- This can be a drawing of a face showing an emotion or a simple sentence like "When we played charades, I felt excited."
7. Reflection and Feedback (5 minutes)
- Ask students to share one thing they learned about emotions today.
- Provide positive reinforcement and feedback on their participation.
8. Closure (5 minutes)
- Summarize the lesson and remind students that it's okay to have different feelings and that they can always express them in English.
Assessment:
- Observe students during activities to assess their understanding and use of emotion vocabulary.
- Review their feelings journals for self-expression and correct use of emotion words.
Extension Activities:
- Encourage students to continue their feelings journal at home, describing their emotions in English.
- Create a class "Emotion Wall" where students can post drawings or sentences about their feelings throughout the week.
Remember to maintain a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing their emotions.。
