教学目标
1.Talk about how to get to places, and describe it with sequence concept.
2.Key vocabulary:(预习)river,cross, between, village, bridge, boat, ropeway, year, afraid, like, villager, leave, dream, true, come true.
3.To master the main sentences
学生已知或能知道的是:then, next 的意思或用法。

精讲点拨:first 首先,then 然后,next 其次,finally 最后。

教学重点 1. New words (生单词,短语): stop, think of, next, then, finally,cross, river, village, between …and …, bridge.
2. Sentence patterns(句型):How do you get to school?
I take the bus to get to school.
How far is it from your home to school?
It is 100 kilometers.
How long does it take from A to B ?
It takes 15 minuets.
教学难点 think of 的使用 What do you think of sth./sb. = how do you like sth. /sb.
教 学 过 程 教师自我调整(学生答题) Step1 Warming-up ① Greet the class as usual and enjoy an English song. ② Check the homework. Make a assessment as a whole. Aks some students to report how their parents get to their work places. If they use these words:firs, next, then, finally. Give them presents and praise them. Step2 New words and sentence patterns ’ learning(do 1a) Show some pictures on the screen.Teach students some key words.say something about the picture one by one: river,cross, between, village, bridge, boat, ropeway, year, afraid, like, villager, leave, dream, true, come true. Step3 Comprehension drills (Do 1C 1D) ①Read and think about the questions: 1. Where are these students? 2. Why do they not use boats to go to school? 3. How do they go to school? 4. How old is the boy? 5. What is their dream? ②Read again slowly and carefully. Get them to repeat and go over the grammar points. ③Finish 2b and 2c.
