英文总结要求

提交作业通知：
请7月7日和7月9日出发来英国的寝室长收集寝室成员的总结和照片（教师仅需要提交重命名的照片6张，一定要对每张照片进行描述，字数至少在10字以上。

可以是生活、学习或者参观考察等），要求所有学生提交一篇英文总结（可以写心得体会，也可以写总结等。

体裁不限，字数不要少于1000个单词，确实有困难的需提交中文总结，字数要求3000字以上。

TXT文档或者DOC文档，不要提交DOCX 文档）和6张照片（重命名，请描述每张照片,最好英文，中文也可，字数至少在10字以上，并压缩照片，规格为1024*768）给寝室长，寝室长收集完毕后，一个室友一个文件夹并命名，然后统一打包并以寝室号命名，发送到29069438@邮箱。

不接收个人总结和照片。

最晚提交时间为8月5日22点。

14th July , we set out our summer school to British. It took us about 11 hours’ time from Beijing to London, although it was really a long time, I still enjoyed it. I was too excited to sleep , I just listened to music and watched TV on the plane. The food is very delicious , and the stewardess are not only very beautiful ,but also very friendly and kind to us .From time to time ,they would ask us if we need more drink or water. In the local afternoon , we arrived at London Airport ,then ,we got on a prepared bus and about four hours later ,we finally reached our dormitory called Victoria Hall in the city of Nottingham ,we were all extremely tired !
15th July , we went to Edinburgh, Glasgow ,the capital of Scotland, and began our three days’ journey there. For Edinburgh , I just had two word s to describe it , beautiful ,wonderful .The city really possessed the style of Scotland, at last, we all bought Scotland wool products,whisky as souvenirs ! For Glasgow, our teacher in South Nottingham College said , it is famous for its disgusting food . Fortunately, I didn’t eat my lunch there! The weather was very strange,rained and rained, the temperature is
low, I almost got a cough. Of course , I took lots of photos there. One thing I thought quite strange was when I took pictures in Glasgow, a local man asked me if I came from Japan or not, I smiled, then repeated twice, answered proudly : I came from China!
18th July , we had a grand Opening ceremony in a big room ,the president of the international exchange college of our university and the Academic director of South Nottingham College both gave a speech , also, other representatives of leading teachers and students !On the afternoon ,we got a quiz to divide us into different classes and levels according to different scores. On the next day, classes began , we just learned something about IELTS, reading, listening, speaking and writing. My dear English teacher in South Nottingham college named Warren . He was interested in our Chinese food , saying he would like to travel in China someday in the future.
From 22nd July to 29th July, we visited many places, such as Derby , Matlock, Chatsworth , Bath, Stone Henge ,and York. Each city had different features , so we had a feast of eyes. Especially when you were walking in the streets, many pigeons flew in the sky ,that’s very harmonious .After three days’visiting ,I got my first impression on British people . They were quite gentle and friendly! Communicating with strangers here was not as strange as it’s in China actually.
5th Aug , we traveled to the famous city Cambridge, it was famous for the highest education level of Cambridge College, I thought every student wanted to study in this school. We visited many colleges of Cambridge, but most of them were not open to public, then we chose to take a boat to visit, the scenery along the lake was very beautiful. I had a try on boating, but it didn't work, the boat just turned around. It’s really a hard work of boating. After that we went to some markets, I bought a sweater for souvenir which marked with all the colleges of Cambridge College.
6th Aug , we started off our wonderful journey to London excited, after over 3 hours' bus, we arrived at Hyde Park, then traveled by each small group. I walked down through the Oxford Street with my roommates , there were lots of shopping centers along the way. We had lunch in an affordable restaurant , where we knew a Chinese waitress. After that we went to British Museum, it was very ground and magnificent. What amazed me extremely was that the museum was free to public. In China, I think it's impossible. You could see the cultural relics from all over the world, it really broaden my knowledge. We went to Towel Bridge by subway. At about 6.pm, we took the bus to Nottingham. On the way home , I thought much about London, although London was very crowed , London was really a wonderful city with beautiful scenery. What an interesting trip!
From 7th Aug to 9th Aug, unfortunately, riots were spread from London
to Nottingham, which made us scared. I remembered clearly that when we were having classes on the afternoon, suddenly, a teacher came in out of breath , ordered us to go down to the reception, and stayed together because something bad had happened in Nottingham, may we can also call it a riot. Then, we were escorted by all the teachers all the way home, I was really moved by them , when we arrived in our dormitories , teachers were still worried about our safeties ,saying they were responsible for all of us ! Through the local police’ hard working, On 10th Aug , things calmed down quickly. But we could hear the sound of helicopters every night! That’s the most unforgettable matter I have ever experienced, so I will tresure it in my memory forever.
11th Aug, after afternoon class,14th August, we had a farewell party. First we had some photos together. Then masters and teacher had some speeches to us. After that we began our party in the cafeteria with some delicious food. It was really a funny party with so many people. Then we had the Certificate ceremony. From now on, all the classes to the first group have been finished, and group 2 will have another 3 days' lessons .I have been tired with the classes. What I want to do now is travelling, shopping and go back home earlier.
How time flies, we have already spent more than 4 weeks here. It was really a wonderful journey that we learned some customs of British, improved our English especially our oral English through talking with
local people and made some new friends abroad. It’s a really meaningful and unforgettable experience to me in my college life, even in my whole life.。
