英语特困生
如何面对英语学困生山东省禹城市第一中学杨思武今年我校实行分层次教学,即分快慢班。
这样做既有利于成绩好的学生提高成绩也有利于成绩差的同学扎实打好基础,因为他们不在一个起跑线上。
同时也便与老师备课上课。
领导安排我教两个慢班。
慢班的学生英语成绩相当差,许多学生根本不知英语从何学起。
因此,怎样在教学中帮助他们树立信心,学会学习,培养学习英语的兴趣特别重要,因为他们明年同样面临高考。
我们教师必须认真对待和认真研究这些所谓的英语学困生所存在的问题。
我在以下几个方面进行尝试。
一、掌握学生心理,和他们建立良好的师生感情学困生同样具有进取心,自尊心,渴望进步。
学困生更需要关爱。
在教学中要和学生建立一种民主、平等的师生关系,与他们做朋友,学会尊重、热爱、欣赏、宽容学生。
英语教学成功与否,不仅取决于学习者的智力因素,更取决于他们情绪、态度、学习动力等。
一个学生,特别是一个学困生,他们本身心理上就自卑,如果感到自己处在被教师特别喜欢的地位,不仅会有幸福感、自尊感,而且会更加信赖,愿意接受来自教师的一切教导。
相反,学生一旦认为自己处在为教师所漠视或厌弃的地位,及易产生自卑感,灰心泄气。
因此我们在教学中要多向他们投去关爱的目光,课后从生活上、学习上多帮助他们,与他们做朋友,让他们没有被歧视和遗忘的感觉,从而唤起他们对学习的热情和信心。
教师一个宽容的微笑,一句体贴的话语,一个会意的眼神,一个轻微的触摸都会产生巨大的学习动力。
正所谓亲其师信其道。
二.每天让学生背诵五个单词,五个短语,两个句子。
具体做法是这样的:首先把要记的内容的汉语写在一个专门的本子上,在写汉语的同时把英语写在另一个练习本上,并且编号一致。
特别要求他们在做这个事情时,要边写边说。
写完后对着汉语说英语,再对着英语想汉语。
这样做,手脑眼嘴并用,效果会比较明显。
文档来自于网络搜索另外,在每节课上课前上课再给他们一点时间去背,上课后马上看着提前写好的汉语写英语。
这样,学生在刚刚识记后马上黙写,会记得比较清楚,写得比较好,可以增强他们的信心,认识到自己也能行,让他们体会到成功的喜悦。

英语学科课程简报2015德州禹城第2期老师们:大家好!我们本次研修的方法篇的主题是:英语课堂教学中的信息技术运用与研究。
共有五个专题。
我梳理了一下每个专题的问题和解决方法,共大家学习参考,希望对大家有用。
专题一:凸显教学方法的PPT课件设计问题: PPT课件在设计中有哪些问题?如何避免这些问题的产生?问题1:PPT制作替代备课过程随着多媒体技术的发展,教师把更多的精力花在了多媒体课件的制作上,往往忽略了备课的环节,转而以课件制作代替了备课,体现在课堂上,教师的行为则变成了照本宣科,以“读”“念”的形式把知识呈现给学生,大大弱化了授课的实际意义,教学效果更是无从谈起,进入了以“读”代“讲”的误区。
解决方法:在制作PPT电子讲稿之前,备课的环节必不可少,在备课的过程中要确定哪些内容是要做到课件中去的,用何种方式表达,课件中所体现的内容要与自己的教学思路相吻合。
课件只是教学内容的一种载体,目的是使教学内容更加清晰地呈现在学生面前,便于学生的理解和接受,在整个教学系统中,它只是起到一个很好的补充作用,并不能改变教学本身的含义。
问题 2:PPT制作代替课本及板书有的教师认为只需要简单地将要讲授的书本内容搬到荧幕中就可以起到良好的教学效果,只需要将这些用传统板书呈现的内容改为用多媒体课件呈现就已经实现了教学效果的飞跃,事实上这种“书本代替”式的课件不仅不能起到多媒体课件所承担的优化教学效果的目的,还让学生进入了不看书只看PPT的误区。
试问:那需要书干什么呢?另外,因为PPT的使用,板书被弱化了。
很多情况就是一节课PPT到底,黑板上没有一个字。
解决方法:要学会合理使用PPT、书本及板书,明了这三者的不同功能和优势。
PPT是不能代替书本和板书的。
教师要利用PPT的两大特点:Power; Point(力量和观点)凸显它的优势。
学生的课本是很好的学习材料,教师不要去帮助学生遗忘课本,培养他们不看书的习惯。
有关板书,其实是应该展现整节课的思路及重点的地方。
它还有优于PPT的作用,不会像PPT那样翻页消失,而是会留下痕迹,更重要的是还可以记录课堂实际生成的信息及思考。
问题 3:PPT制作过于注重形式部分教师为了制作所谓的“样式精美,色彩绚丽,动感实足,形象逼真”的教学课件,刻意在色彩、动画和美工等细节处理上煞费苦心,走进了追求技术完美的误区。
以为这样能够吸引听众的眼球,就能达到相应的教学效果,孰不知这样处理的结果往往造成了形式掩盖了内容。
一节课下来,学生只看到了课件的完美展示,却可能什么内容都没有记住,以至于感觉是在展示技术而不是在真正教学。
解决方法:要遵循形式是为内容服务的原则。
PPT的制作不是为了注重形式还是为教学服务,可以遵循一定的优先原则,即能用图的不用表格,能用表格不用文字,按照这样的呈现方式,可以使PPT页面在呈现上真正实现将抽象变直观的功效;其次,PPT页面的内容在排列分布上也是有技巧的。
例如:要有一个整体思考(Think as a whole);只展示最核心信息(切忌把一整段话放在PPT上);PPT的排版四大法则(alignment; contrast; assembly; coherence);有关字体(做PPT 请选择不带衬线的字体)有关图片(不要使用非主流;渣像素及有水印的图片)等。
专题二:符合教学目标的PPT课件设计问题:教学(学习)目标设定中存在的问题是什么?问题1:术语表述不清用来描述目标的术语有:Teaching aims, Teaching purposes,Teaching goals,Overall teaching goals,Objectives,Teaching objectives, Learning objectives等。
关于教学目标的英文表述有三种:Goals, Aims, Objectives。
但这三种表述却有着明显的区别。
施良方、崔允漷认为Goals 和 Aims 指的是目的,Objectives 才指目标。
如果按照层级划分的话,Goals 是一级目标,是最大的目标或终极教育目标。
Aims是二级目标,确切的讲是“目的”,是以教师为出发点的,更多体现的是教师的主观意向。
Teaching aims也就是我们通常讲的传统的教学目的。
Objectives是三级目标,是以学生为出发点的,是具体的课堂学习目标,我们在课堂教学设计中所确定的目标应属此种。
问题2:主体没有凸显我们经常能见到这样的目标如: To develop the students’ ability of … ;To improve the students’ … ability ;To help the students… 等。
从这些例证我们清楚地看出,这些教学目标的主体是教师,而不是学生,没有突出学生的主体性。
可能教师们在课堂教学活动中学生的活动会多一些,但潜意识中还是摆脱不了以教师为中心。
问题3:目标过于笼统教师在目标叙写中存在的另一个问题是教学目标表述过于笼统、空洞,缺乏可操作性。
如:我们经常能看到大多数的教师用To develop the students’ ability of reading;To improve the students’speaking ability; To help the students acquire information through reading and listening等形式,以及诸如cultivate, enable, train, build up, equip, encourage, enhance 等动词来表述教学目标。
这些表述形式以及动词非常抽象,模糊,无法去测量其效果,在描述上还缺乏必要的条件以及表现程度。
这些目标是整个基础英语教学阶段的目标,一节课内是很难实现的,而且这些目标放在哪里都可以成为的目标,因此,那这些目标就形同虚设了。
问题4: 目标设定单一教师设定的目标中可能只涉及知识技能,或是知识与技能;过程与方法,缺少情感态度与价值观等,存在着目标设定单一或缺失的问题。
我们在设定过程中应涵盖三个领域:问题5: 目标与活动脱节我们经常能看到这样的课,活动形式很多,课堂很活跃,但是上课结束时学生只是在课堂上走了一个过程,并没有学到一些什么。
老师设定的目标和活动没有一定的相关性。
活动只是为了活动而活动,并没有目标意识,也没有基于目标的设计。
这样的话,即使课堂再活跃,课堂效果还是没有或是很小的。
问题6: 目标与实际失衡作为教师,平时会碰到这样的情况,等我们上完课反观自己的教学,感觉没有完成预计的教学目标。
或者我们有时从校外观课学习回来,学习到了一堂好课,就想尝试照搬好课的教学目标和教学设计。
但是会发现在自己课堂实施起来不顺畅。
那是什么原因呢?主要是我们“拿来主义”的东西并不完全适合我们自己的学生实际情况,或者目标的要求过高或过低了。
专题三:发挥电子白板课件的交互作用问题:电子白板的功能有哪些?1.屏幕批注,及时反馈教师利用电子白板先呈现电子版的课文,在边讲解的过程中,利用电子白板的屏幕批注功能,实时加上一些重点词语的批注(加下划线、着重号、画圈等),运用电子白板营造生生互动和师生互动的学习环境。
在互动中交流批注成果,在教师反馈中明确方法内涵。
整个过程学生是学习的主体,在独立批注和互动讨论中提高了学生思维的独立性和深刻性。
2.遮挡隐藏,分批呈现基于交互电子白板提供的遮挡拉幕功能,可以倒入图片作为主题背景,有利于创设情景。
可以根据学习进度,分批呈现资源,不仅有利于学生集中注意力,更能有效引导学生思维发展。
不但在新授课中比较实用,而且在平时的练习和复习课中也非常受用。
3.拖放组合,灵活互动基于交互电子白板提供的拖放、放大和组合功能,使学生在拖放中经历学习过程,在拖放组合中展示思维创造。
在学习过程中,强化了学生的学习实践,使学生在实践中增长能力。
4.重点放大,凸现重点基于交互电子白板提供的照相和放大缩小功能,可以针对教学重点,重点呈现,细致观察,有利发现问题。
5.过程回放,呈现脉络基于交互电子白板提供的回放功能,可以重新展现学习过程,重温思维的脉络,有利于在学习中总结学法,提炼方法,从根本上发现问题和抓住关键解决问题。
6.模式切换,方便演示基于交互电子白板提供的三种模式的切换功能,可与整合教育资源,便于课堂的演示和批画。
在教学中通过模式的切换,教师可以利用电子白板操作切换到普通操作模式,进行普通的电脑操作,如播放视频、播放PPT、打开文件等,而无需动用鼠标键盘等。
7.智能绘图,提升效率电子白板中提供了教师不需要借助其它工具,稍加练习,即可用一支笔在电子白板中非常方便地画出非常专业、准确的各种图形。
8.库存另存,积累资源库存是基于交互电子白板提供的资源库功能和存储功能,可以在学习中随时调用资源和积累现场资源,可以以多种方式存储现场学习资源,便于复习和重温。
另存是将教师上课使用的课件、教学资源和学生智慧的创造,导出为网页、图片等资源,便于学生再学习或复习等专题四:从一堂影视欣赏课想开去……问题:技术和学科整合的关键及方法?信息技术与课程整合(Integrating Information Technology into Curriculum)应该是“信息技术”与“课程”的整合,而不是“信息技术”与“课程整合”,信息技术与课程整合并非“1+1=2”式简单叠加而带来的“物理变化”,而是一种“A+B=C”式有机融合的教学方式产生的“化学作用”。
所谓信息技术和课程整合是指,在学科教学过程中把信息技术、信息资源和课程有机结合,建构有效的教学方式,促进教学的最优化。
从这个定义我们可以看出,信息技术已不仅仅是学科教学的辅助工具,它贯穿于学科教学的过程之中,改变着我们的教学方式和学习方式。
提高信息技术与课程整合有效性的六种方法是指:●内容组织方法●思维引导方法●学习活动设计方法●资源组织方法●学习环境创设方法●学习评价设计方法上海市浦东教育发展研究院王瑛对照《标准》,写出合格作业省课程团队专家吴红此次集中研修的必做作业是《信息化教学设计方案》,即结合所学方法和技术,自选内容,完成针对自己下学年度创课阶段的一堂课的教学设计。
要埋头拉车,更要抬头看路。
完成一份合格的作业,务必要研究好两个标准:一是《中小学教师信息技术应用能力标准(试行)》,简称《能力标准》。
二是《英语课程标准》,简称《课标》。
由于大家对《课标》都比较熟悉,在此简要介绍一下《能力标准》。
《能力标准》规定了中小学教师在教育教学中有效运用信息技术的准则,提出了两个要求,五个纬度。
两个要求即:教师运用信息教师的基本要求和发展性要求。
基本要求主要包括教师利用信息技术进行讲解、启发、示范、指导、评价等教学活动应具备的能力;发展性要求,主要针对教师在学生具备网络学习环境或相应设备的条件下,利用信息技术支持学生开展自主、合作、探究等学习活动所应具有的能力。
