案例背景:复习巩固本单元部分的主要语言点,适当扩展语言。

知识目标
1、能够听、说、读、写四会句子:Why do you like summer?Because I can swim in the sea.Why do you like winter? Because I can ski.并能在情景中正确运用。

2、读懂短文,能够掌握阅读技巧,正确理解文章。

3、学生的自主阅读,能够提高英语写作能力。

教学重点:
有关描述加拿大四季特征和表达自己最喜欢季节及原因的语句
教学难点能正确描述他人最喜欢的季节及原因,教师通过开展有效的阅读教
学活动,培养学生良好的英语阅读习惯,使学生在轻松愉快的环境下获取信息,得到感知语言的能力,从而达到全面提高英语能力的目的。

情感目标:
文化意识:理解不同国度一年四季的不同特征。

教学过程
一. Warm-up
1.Greetings.
2.Together sing a song: What’s your favourite season?
3.Together do.
Swim, swim, swim in the sea. Fly, fly, fly a kite.
Make, make, make a snowman. Pick, pick, pick up apples.
We can find many things to do.
二. Presentation
1. Talk about the four seasons.
A: summer
T: What’s the weather like today ? S: It’s hot.
T: Which season is it now ? S: It’s summer.
T: Do you like summer? S: Yes.
T: What can you do in summer? S: I can ….
T: Great. We can find many things to do. We can swim in the sea and eat ice cream.
B: spring
T: (Show a part of a picture) Guess, which season is it? S: Spring.
T: Is it beautiful? S: Yes.
T: What can you do in spring? S: I can ….
T: Great. We can find many things to do. We can fly a kite and watch the flowers grow.
C: fall
T: I have a riddle here. Please listen and guess: Which season is it ? It’s cool. The sky is very blue. The leaves are colorful. It’s golden.
S: Fall.
T: Good! We also can say it autumn.
(Read the word autumn)
What can you do in autumn ? S: I can …..
T: Wonderful. We can find many things to do. We can pick up apples and watch the leaves fall.
D: The same way with winter.
E: T: How many seasons are there in a year? S: Four.
T: What are they? S: Spring, summer, autumn and winter.
T: I love all the seasons. They are all beautiful and I can find many things to do.
a: Say the sentence after T. b: Ask several student to say.
2. Communication.
A: T make a dialogue with the Ss.
T: I love all the seasons. What about you? Which season do you like best ?
S: I like…
T: What can you do in …?
S: I can….. I can find many things to do.
B: Talk in pairs.
C: Ask several pair of Ss to act it out.
4.Let’s chant.
Spring is beautiful. Flowers grow.
Summer is hot. Swim in the sea.
Autumn is golden. Watch the leaves fall.
It snows in winter. I can ski.
三.While –reading.
1.We have talked about the seasons in China. How about the seasons in Canada? Now. let’s listen to Mike’s school report .
2. Read and match.
Read the passage quickly and find out what can Mike do in the seasons. In spring swim in the sea

In winter ski
3:Read and answer.
T: Read carefully and think: Which season does Mike like best?
4.Can you read it ?
T show several sentences, ask the students to read.
