Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived two neighbors, Jack and Tom. They had been friends since childhood, but their bond was tested one day by a minor dispute over a piece of land between their houses.

Jack claimed that the land belonged to him, as it had been passed down through his family for generations. Tom, on the other hand, argued that the landmark, an old tree, marked the boundary and the land was clearly on his side.

As days passed, the argument escalated into a full-blown feud. They shouted, insulted each other, and even threw stones at each other's houses. The villagers gathered to watch the spectacle, some siding with Jack, others with Tom.

One day, an elderly wise man from the village intervened. He listened
to both sides patiently and then spoke. "Men, this land is not worth your friendship. Think of the happy times you have shared, the jokes you have laughed at, the troubles you have faced together. Is this piece of land worth destroying that?"

Jack and Tom fell silent, realizing the folly of their actions. They apologized to each other and agreed to let the land remain as it was, a shared boundary between their homes and their hearts.

The moral of the story is clear: Arguments and disputes can often cloud our judgment and lead us to forget what is truly important in life. It is essential to remember that friendships and relationships are far more valuable than any material possession.

So, whenever you find yourself in a similar situation, take a step back, breathe deeply, and remember what really matters. After all,
land can be redivided, but broken friendships are harder to mend.
