Halloween is a yearly celebration observed in a number of countries on 31 October. Typical activities include trick-or-treating, attending costume parties, decorating, carving pumpkins into jacko'-lanterns and so on.
2).Why is it celebrated?
People see Carnival as a last chance to have fun at the end of the winter season. Carnival became a way to unite different communities. They were celebrated the return of spring after winter. Christmas is a time to look back the old year and look forward to the new one. Karenga wanted to create a holiday to bring African Americans together and celebrate their history and culture.
