摘要：PURPOSE:To shorten a dead time wherein a signal counting is not effected and to improve a counting rate characteristic by providing a logic sum circuit for each group of a number of radiation detectors arranged in the shape of a ring. CONSTITUTION:Each output signal of eight radiation detectors 1 in a group A is inputted to an encoder 2 via a delay circuit 7 and a logic product circuit (AND) 8. As for a group D, likewise, each output signal of eight radiation detectors 1 in the group D is inputted to an encoder 3 via the delay circuit 7 and the AND circuit 8. All outputs of the eight radiation detectors 1 in the group A are delivered to one input of an AND circuit 4 via a logic sum (OR) circuit 5. All outputs of the eight radiation detectors 1 in the group D are also delivered to the other input of the AND circuit 4 via an OR circuit 6. By this AND circuit 4, therefore, the coincidence between the groups A and D is detected. Thereby a dead time wherein a signal counting is not effected is shortened and thus a counting rate characteristic can be improved.
