Dear Tom ,
Hardly could I restrain my excitement when I heard that I got the first place in the speech contest. I must owe it to your assistance and guidance.
It is with your patient instruction that I can make tremendous progress in my pronunciation and intonation. Had it not been for the fact that you helped me correct my draft and polish my words ,my speech couldn’t have fascinated the audience. Apart from these ,your teaching me how to show my confidence and convey my heartfelt emotions in my speech contributes to my success.
From the bottom of my heart ,I want to extend my sincere gratitude to you. Best wishes!
Yours ,
Li Hua

【参考范文】
Several days later,I received an e-mail.Its subject line said,“I am so proud of you, sweetheart!” My heart stopped.I opened the e-mail,and it was from Jeanne. My breath caught in my throat. Was someone playing a joke on me? In her e-mail,Jeanne wrote,“Please reach out to me once your tour is done.I don’t want to be a bother.” I couldn’t wait — I immediately dialed the number she had given.
“Hello?” The voice at the other end softened me from the inside out.“I can’t believe it’s you,” I said through my absolute bewilderment.“I never stopped thinking of you.” she told me.I had known she was the mother I was meant to have in this life.I went on to live as if she’d never left,as if she were there to guide my actions.I believed that one day I’d have the chance to tell her “thank you.”
