陌生人来家里吃饭英语作文
1. So, there I was, minding my own business at home, when a stranger knocked on my door. I was a bit surprised, but I opened the door and the person asked if they could come in and have a meal.
2. At first, I was hesitant because, you know, it's not every day that a stranger shows up at your doorstep asking for food. But then I thought, why not? I mean, it's not
like I had anything better to do that evening.
3. So, I invited the stranger in and we sat down at the table. It was a bit awkward at first, I mean, what do you even talk about with someone you've never met before? But we started chatting and it turned out that the person was actually pretty cool.
4. I had made some pasta for dinner, nothing fancy,
just a simple tomato sauce with some garlic bread on the side. I offered it to the stranger and they seemed really
grateful. It made me feel good to be able to share a meal with someone who needed it.
5. After we finished eating, the stranger thanked me and said they had to go. I didn't ask too many questions, I mean, it's not really my business why they were out and about looking for a meal. But I did wish them well and hoped that they would find whatever it was they were looking for.
6. As I closed the door behind the stranger, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. It's not every day that you get to make a connection with someone new, and even though it was a bit out of the ordinary, I was glad I had the chance to share a meal with a stranger.。
