Despite a slow start, Brave Heart builds into a powerful, entertaining, moving and at
times, depressing film. The depressing aspect stems not so much from the film itself, but I watched it in Guatemala - a country where for the past 35 years the oppressed have also been fighting against tyranny and injustice. The significant difference is that the
