The best way to truly relax and
The best way to truly relax andreduce stress is to spend time alone.23The rapid growth of the economic has caused people has a tremendous amount of pressure from our daily lives and studies. So, it is of great significant for people to have a good break. A great number of people think the best way to relax and release the stress is to stay lonely, however, I take a different view.Share boring doFor one thing, staying with others aids in expressing your truly thoughts and feelings, which is beneficial for you to reduce the constant pressure you have taken for a long time. While the golden rule of “sharing one apple with another people, the happiness will be double; sharing bitter with others, the sadness will be half”is a simple but sounding proverb with the similar meaning, which allows for the possibilities that if you communicate about your trouble or difficulties with your friends, whoever accompanies with you, you will be inclined to have a good release. For another thing, spending time with others help you develop a distraction from your work or business. Even if you truly prefer to one sort of activity playing alone, you will eventually burn yourself out due to the longtime and constant pursue it to an exclusion of other activities. And, if you stay with many friends, there will be numerous and countless ideas or topics to exchange, and endless flexible and creative games to play together which you have never get access to. All these types of things will accustom you to a relaxing way, and encourage you to forget your problems because of the large distraction.Admittedly, staying alone provides you with a quiet and comfortable environment in which you are able to do whatever you want, since you do not need to consider other factors or people and there is no limitation again. Nevertheless, I do not think it is hugely effective for addressing your issues and offer you a truly relax without pressure. Only other people can be expected to, as a group, talk with you, give you some useful suggestions, solving the difficulties you have eventually. So, according to the reasons above, I insist on that the best method to is, because the benefits are both immense and numerous.。

These two elements, when embraced with sincerity, can illuminate the path to new horizons, allowing individuals to not only envision but also realize their dreams.Contemplation:The Catalyst for InsightContemplation is the process of deep thinking and reflection. It is during these introspective moments that we analyze our experiences, evaluate our choices, and gain insights into our true desires and aspirations.Contemplation allows us to step back from the hustle and bustle of daily life, providing a serene space for the mind to wander and explore. It is through contemplation that we can identify our strengths and weaknesses, understand our passions, and set clear goals for ourselves. The act of contemplation is not merely a passive exercise it is an active engagement with our inner selves. It requires discipline and a willingness to be honest with ourselves.By dedicating time to contemplate,we can develop a deeper understanding of our values, beliefs, and the kind of future we wish to create.Determination:The Fuel for PersistenceDetermination,on the other hand,is the relentless drive that keeps us moving forward, even in the face of adversity. It is the force that propels us to take action,to persevere, and to overcome obstacles.Without determination, the insights gained from contemplation may remain just thoughts, never transforming into tangible achievements.Determination is characterized by resilience, courage, and an unwavering commitment to ones goals. It is the quality that enables us to bounce back from failures and to learn from our mistakes. It is the inner voice that whispers,Keep going, when the path becomes steep and treacherous. The Synergy of Contemplation and DeterminationWhen contemplation and determination work in harmony, they create a powerful synergy. For one thing, borrowing books can save us huge amounts of money. And of course, with the money saved we can do other more worthy things .And also, as we borrow books from the library and friends, we normally have deadline to finish them, and consequently we can read more books in a limited time. And we can, above all, better our efficiency of our reading, just as a famous Chinese saying goes, “books can not be read unless borrowed.”However, some advantages for buying books are more obvious and compelling. One of them, definitely not shared by the choice of borrowing books, is the abundance of freedom that buying books can offer us. Since we can keep the books as long as we wish, we can read as much as we want. Another strength of owing books is that we can take whatever notes on the margin of the pages of the books. And finally, the process of selecting and keeping books can be a great fun that borrowing books can by no means offer. While borrowing books can, to some extent, quench our thirstfor knowledge, buying books gives us greater pleasure of selecting and keeping the best of the world treasure. I join you in this meeting because I am in deepest agreement with the aims and work of the organization which has brought us together:Clergy and Laymen Concerned about Vietnam. The recent statements of your executive committee are the sentiments of my own heart, and I found myself in full accord when I read its opening lines: “A time comes when silence is betrayal.” And that time has come for us in relation to Vietnam. The truth of these words is beyond doubt, but the mission to which they call us is a most difficult one. Even when pressed by the demands of inner truth, men do not easily assume the task of opposing their government's policy, especially in time of war. Nor does the human spirit move without great difficulty against all the apathy of conformist thought within one's own bosom and in the surrounding world. Moreover, when the issues at hand seem as perplexed as they often do in the case of this dreadful conflict, we are always on the verge of being mesmerized by uncertainty; but we must move on. And some of us who have already begun to break the silence of the night have found that the calling to speak is often a vocation of agony, but we must speak. We must speak with all the humility that is appropriate to our limited vision, but we must speak. And we must rejoice as well, for surely this is the first time in our nation's history that a significant number of its religious leaders have chosen to move beyond the prophesying of smooth patriotism to the high grounds of a firm dissent based upon the mandates of conscience and the reading of history. Perhaps a new spirit is rising among us. If it is, let us trace its movements and pray that our own inner being may be sensitive to its guidance, for we are deeply in need of a new way beyond the darkness that seems so close around us. Over the past two years, as I have moved to break the betrayal of my own silences and to speak from the burnings of my own heart, as I have called for radical departures from the destruction of Vietnam, many persons have questioned me about the wisdom of my path. At the heart of their concerns this query has often loomed large and loud: “Why are you speaking about the war, Dr. King?” “Why are you joining the voices of dissent?” “Peace and civil rights don't mix,” they say. “Aren't you hurting the cause of your people,” they ask? And when I hear them, though I often understand the source of their concern, I am nevertheless greatly saddened, for such questions mean that the inquirers have not really known me, my commitment or my calling. Indeed, their questions suggest that they do not know the world in which they live. In the light of such tragic misunderstanding, I deem it of signal importance to try to state clearly, and I trust concisely, why I believe that the path from Dexter Avenue Baptist Church —— the church in Montgomery, Alabama, where I began my pastorate —— leads clearly to this sanctuary tonight. I come to this platform tonight to make a passionate plea to my beloved nation. This speech is not addressed to Hanoi or to the National Liberation Front. It is not addressed to China or to Russia. Nor is it an attempt to overlook the ambiguity of the total situation and the need for a collective solution to the tragedy of Vietnam. Neither is it an attempt to make North Vietnam or the National Liberation Front paragons of virtue, nor to overlook the role they must play in the successful resolution of the problem. While they both may have justifiable reasons to be suspicious of the good faith of the United States, life and history give eloquent testimony to the fact that conflicts are never resolved without trustful give and take on both sides. Tonight, however, I wish not to speak with Hanoi and the National Liberation Front, but rather to my fellowed [sic] Americans, *who, with me, bear the greatest responsibility in ending a conflict that has exacted a heavy price on both continents. Since I am a preacher by trade, I suppose it is not surprising that I have seven major reasons for bringing Vietnam into the field of my moral vision.* There is at the outset a very obvious and almost facile connection between the war in Vietnamand the struggle I, and others, have been waging in America. A few years ago there was a shining moment in that struggle. It seemed as if there was a real promise of hope for the poor —— both black and white —— through the poverty program. There were experiments, hopes, new beginnings. Then came the buildup in Vietnam, and I watched this program broken and eviscerated, as if it were some idle political plaything of a society gone mad on war, and I knew that America would never invest the necessary funds or energies in rehabilitation of its poor so long as adventures like Vietnam continued to draw men and skills and money like some demonic destructive suction tube. So, I was increasingly compelled to see the war as an enemy of the poor and to attack it as such. Perhaps the more tragic recognition of reality took place when it became clear to me that the war was doing far more than devastating the hopes of the poor at home. It was sending their sons and their brothers and their husbands to fight and to die in extraordinarily high proportions relative to the rest of the population. We were taking the black young men who had been crippled by our society and sending them eight thousand miles away to guarantee liberties in Southeast Asia which they had not found in southwest Georgia and East Harlem. And so we have been repeatedly faced with the cruel irony of watching Negro and white boys on TV screens as they kill and die together for a nation that has been unable to seat them together in the same schools. And so we watch them in brutal solidarity burning the huts of a poor village, but we realize that they would hardly live on the same block in Chicago. I could not be silent in the face of such cruel manipulation of the poor. My third reason moves to an even deeper level of awareness, for it grows out of my experience in the ghettoes of the North over the last three years —— especially the last three summers. As I have walked among the desperate, rejected, and angry young men, I have told them that Molotov cocktails and rifles would not solve their problems. I have tried to offer them my deepest compassion while maintaining my conviction that social change comes most meaningfully through nonviolent action. But they ask —— and rightly so —— what about Vietnam? They ask if our own nation wasn't using massive doses of violence to solve its problems, to bring about the changes it wanted. Their questions hit home, and I knew that I could never again raise my voice against the violence of the oppressed in the ghettos without having first spoken clearly to the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today —— my own government. For the sake of those boys, for the sake of this government, for the sake of the hundreds of thousands trembling under our violence, I cannot be silent. For those who ask the question, “Aren't you a civil rights leader?” and thereby mean to exclude me from the movement for peace, I have this further answer. In 1957 when a group of us formed the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, we chose as our motto: “To save the soul of America.” We were convinced that we could not limit our vision to certain rights for black people, but instead affirmed the conviction that America would never be free or saved from itself until the descendants of its slaves were loosed completely from the shackles they still wear. In a way we were agreeing with Langston Hughes, that black bard of Harlem, who had written earlier: O, yes,I say it plain, America never was America to me, And yet I swear this oath —— America will be! Now, it should be incandescently clear that no one who has any concern for the integrity and life of America today can ignore the present war. If America's soul becomes totally poisoned, part of the autopsy must read: Vietnam. It can never be saved so long as it destroys the deepest hopes of men the world over. So it is that those of us who are yet determined that America will be are led down the path of protest and dissent, working for the health of our land. As if the weight of such a commitment to the life and health of America were not enough, another burden of responsibility was placed upon me in 1954** [sic]; and I cannot forget that the Nobel Prize for Peace was also a commission —— a commission to work harder than I had ever worked before for “the brotherhood of man.” This is a calling that takes me beyond national allegiances, but even if it were not present I would yet have to live with the meaning of my commitment to the ministry of Jesus Christ. To me the relationship of this ministry to the making of peace is so obvious that I sometimes marvel at those who ask me why I'm speaking against the war. Could it be that they do not know that the good news was meant for all men —— for Communist and capitalist, for their children and ours, for black and for white, for revolutionary and conservative? Have they forgotten that my ministry is in obedience to the One who loved his enemies so fully that he died for them? What then can I say to the Vietcong or to Castro or to Mao as a faithful minister of this One? Can I threaten them with death or must I not share with them my life?。

静谧与和谐的追求(英文作文)
The Pursuit of Serenity and HarmonyIn the hustle and bustle of modern life, the quest for serenity and harmony has become a cherished aspiration for many. These two virtues, intertwined and complementary, represent a profound yearning for inner peace, balance, and harmony with one's surroundings. This essay delves into the essence of serenity and harmony, exploring the various facets of their pursuit and the transformative power they hold. The Essence of SerenitySerenity, at its core, embodies a state of profound calmness and tranquility within the individual. It is a mental state where one is free from the clutches of anxiety, stress, and agitation, allowing for clarity of thought and a deep sense of contentment. Achieving serenity often involves cultivating mindfulness, practicing meditation, and engaging in activities that nourish the soul, such as nature walks, yoga, or creative pursuits. In a world filled with distractions and constant stimulation, serenity becomes a refuge, a sanctuary where one can reconnect with oneself and find solace. It is a vital component of mental health, fostering resilience and enabling individuals to navigate life's challenges with grace and equanimity. The Beauty of HarmonyHarmony, on the other hand, extends beyond the individual to encompass the relationships we forge with others and the environment. It represents a state of balance, where different elements coexist in a symbiotic and mutually beneficial manner. In human interactions, harmony manifests as empathy, understanding, and respect, fostering strong bonds and fostering a sense of community. In nature, harmony is evident in the intricate dance of ecosystems, where every living being plays a vital role, contributing to the overall well-being of the planet. This interconnectedness underscores the importance of living in harmony with nature, recognizing our responsibility to preserve and protect the delicate balance that sustains life. The Pursuit in ActionThe pursuit of serenity and harmony is a lifelong journey that requires conscious effort and commitment. It involves cultivating self-awareness, learning to manage emotions effectively, and making mindful choices that align with one's values and aspirations. At the individual level, this might mean setting aside time for self-care, engaging in activities that bring joy and fulfillment, and fostering a positive mindset. In relationships, it involves active listening, open communication, and a willingness to compromise and find common ground. Moreover, the pursuit of serenity and harmony also necessitates a broader perspective, recognizing our interconnectedness with the world around us. This calls for responsible citizenship, environmental stewardship, and a commitment to social justice and equity. The Transformative PowerThe pursuit of serenity and harmony is transformative, not just for the individual but also for society as a whole. When individuals find inner peace and cultivate harmonious relationships, they become more resilient, compassionate, and effective contributors to their communities. This, in turn, fosters a more positive and harmonious societal climate, where people support each other, work together towards common goals, and strive for a better world. The transformative power of serenity and harmony has the potential to heal divisions, bridge gaps, and create a more united and prosperous future for all.In conclusion, the pursuit of serenity and harmony is a noble endeavor that enriches our lives in countless ways. By nurturing our inner worlds and fostering harmoniousrelationships with others and the environment, we can unlock the full potential of our humanity and create a world that is more peaceful, compassionate, and sustainable.。
选择读一本喜欢的书如何做到理性遵从自己内心的英语作文
选择读一本喜欢的书如何做到理性遵从自己内心的英语作文There will never be anyone else like you in the future of the universe. That's why being yourself is more important than anything else. That's how life works: two steps forward, followed by one-and-a-half back as those who lost their power try to reverse the process. Those who benefit most from the status quo are naturally the least interested in change, and they find allies in the fearful and the authoritarian. Conformity always includes a threat of punishment if you fail to fit in, whether it comes from ridicule, being shunned by others, or direct attack. There’s a more fundamental power behind the urgency with which authoritarian conservatives seek to suppress individuality. That power is lack of trust. Wise leaders and outstan ding thinkers are alike in two things: they’re usually non-conformists —and they display a deep trust in the basic goodness, intelligence, and capacity for development of their fellow human beings. In stark contrast, the most determined proponents of conformity have always been dictatorships. Under adictatorship, any kind of variation from prescribed ways of thinking or acting is punished. Conservative thinkers often suggest too much freedom will lead to anarchy and the collapse of all standards.Being who and what you are is the most natural thing there is. There may be a cost. Some people, even some friends, will disapprove of you as you truly are and will let you know it. There will be setbacks along the way. Yet the price for being yourself can never be as great as the price you will pay for stepping aside from your basic nature: a price paid in frustration, dissatisfaction, and the hopeless realization of all that you might have been, but now can never attain.Take up the challenge. Conformity has very little to recommend it. Trust yourself and trust others. Mediocrity and inner frustration are the true price of conforming. Only those with the courage openly to live their dreams can ever hope to find lasting satisfaction with their lives.。
